I've thought since Monday that Buck would follow up quickly with an operational update. I think he'll give us details tomorrow of what's going on at the well sites, either by RNS or possibly even via an interview. There was a bit of buying going into Friday close BTW so somebody knew what was coming. Anyway, great position to be in; production, income flow starts soon, low cost works programme, JV talks, Sunsteppe confidentiality agreement with multiple investors and more. So much news to come. Anyone who averaged down should be in profit now, so relax.

Latest figures - Huge slowdown for US economy since the orange peril came to power and thought that he could help the economy by installing a 19th century style tariff regime. Given that he's begun to see the results of his ineptitude we can expect the tariff walls begin to come down. That would help the oil price recover a bit sooner.

Hands up those of you who thought he was a great id3a as Potus? BTW before you go 'yeah but Biden', read any serious economist on Biden's record on the economy and the robust shape he left it in.

The stockbashers are clearly working together WigDoc. Coordinated stockbashing is illegal. That's just a fact. Me saying you're Doc isn't.

That's why I like Buck's cautious approach outlined in the last update/AGM. Build the company by increasing bopd incrementally from existing wells with manageable expenditure, secure income, cut running costs, only get RBL when we're secure and with regular income streams, look for a favourable JV, diversify at zero cost, network, build political support, nurture good staff and technical teams, run a tight ship, explore when it suits us, don't overstretch. I'm happy to wait as feel the company is beginning to be impressive enough to attract bigger fish to our cause.

Also it's so important, and hugely to Buck's credit, that we have NO DEBT to service at this point in the company's development. Buck is also focussing on streamlining the company to minimise costs, and keeping development costs modest while looking to JV. In time, RBL will come into play, if we need it, but only for accretive reasons. I like the cautious, paying-our-way approach, securing income and making the most of what we already have as this is how to build long-term shareholder value. And then we have Sunsteppe as an eventual pivot away from fossil fuels, in my opinion. Early diversification. Great leadership.

Yes, many analysts bearish on oil prices atm but the cretinous orange Man-baby is realising that his ridiculous tariffs will hurt American manufacturing and is beginning to row back on them, in the same way he realised that Putin is playing with him like a nasty kid pulling the legs off a spider. Ditto the Iranians. Add in the high chance of Israel having a crack at Iran and oil prices could reverse rapidly.

Trouble is Wigster/Doc that I'm still waiting for any critical analysis from the illegal stockbashing gang. I would suggest that anyone spending their life on a bulletin board telling people why they wouldn't invest in a company is not a reliable source of critical analysis. There's no real answer to that point, is there?

Lovely to see so many green compost boxes this morning. Not sure who, but some lonely loser seems to have been posting through the night! They are clearly panicking as they know they can't do anything about the incoming news. It's clearly coordinated so is in fact an illegal attack. It's like lemmings trying to scramble back up the cliff. They are doomed really but have realised toolate that they are going over the edge. Lovely to watch.

Agree about Buck, Thorn. Malcy always says he's one of the few good guys in the business. Having suffered at the hands of an utter wrong 'un over at COPL, I would only invest in an oil company where I had some faith in the integrity of its CEO. I have faith in Buck, he's stuck at this despite all the obstacles, he's never tried to gild the lily and he's put his money where his mouth is. And look where we are now.

Still a giveaway price at these levels, virtually nothing priced in for our producing field with oil flowing unstimulated and about to increase. Company can work on H1&,2, Gobi, Gazelle, get them producing for relatively low expenditure strengthening our position in any JV talks. Plus Sunsteppe is clearly going places rapidly with money pouring into renewables in Mongolia. Fantastic position to be in for less that 2pps. Hopefully another blue day and then into the weekend. Mike Buck must be feeling pretty chipper with his 100k purchase.

I think we'll see another positive RNS before the end of this week. I think Buck knows he has to take the initiative away from traders. A relentless newsflow would do the trick. 700+ trades in two days shows the buzz around us when the news drops. A good steady stream of positive updates would take advantage of the liquidity and push the sp beyond this ridiculous range where it's easy for traders to buy big numbers and play the percentages. Time to look at the market too, Mr Buck.
