Looks to me that those holding are locked and loaded waiting for news. Not much action buying nor selling. Been the same most of the week. Could be a little tickle of Fomo this pm. Finish around 1.7p would be my guess if so. Lovely.

Well, at least Stockvirgin has invested in a company with cash as Oracle raise funds every other week. The £300k they raised this week will last about a fortnight so another raise soon.

Given that Stockvirgin invested in Oracle, I would suggest that research is not one of their strongest suits. And it's a pretty low bar.

Given that I've blocked all members of the illegal stockbashing gang, can somebody let me know if someone posts evidence for how long Petro China usually takes to sign-off on deals similar to ours. I can't find anything. Once they post this research we can then judge whether it's taking a long time or not. Otherwise it's just picking timelines out of the ether.

The problem I have with saying it's taking a long time for the sign-off is that we have no yardstick to judge things by. A long time compared to what? It's never been done before. Mike Buck was bullish about it to show positivity to the market but he was only guessing and he admitted as much at the AGM, that he's made a rod for his own back. If you state that the length of time is 'inordinate' you also need to provide evidence of how long, on average, Petro China takes to process such deals. I haven't seen any such comparative evidence posted at all.

I think we will get a separate RNS on the sign-off as soon as it happens - we got a separate one for start up of production - as it is in everyone's interest to boost the sp ASAP. Mike Buck is probably getting loads of awkward emails if nothing else. It's highly likely, in my view, that the hold-up is either down to JV talks involving PC and others which would now supercede any deal in place, or likewise PC have come back and asked how much for the lot. For me, this is why the last RNS said clearly that we can go it alone if need be. Whatever, I'm pretty sure that there are way more negotiations going on in the background that go beyond the take-off local deal. Just my opinion.

Spot on Hamm. I'm a ramper because I'm upbeat about my investment. Apparently the stockbashers object to me doing this. So, I'm a ramper because I believe in my investment, as weird as that is, and I post positive comments on it. The stockbashers attack anyone who does this.

So let me get this straight - ADW spends thousands of hours on a bulletin board doomongering on a share they are not invested in and which they previously sold at a loss. Is that right?

Not much market activity so far - suggests to me that most now are locked and loaded come what may. Our illegal stockbashing gang will be out in force as there's very little they can do without people trading. They'll do their best to frighten people as usual but doesn't look like much will move.

Correction - RNS will be Friday this week, not Thursday due to the shorter bank holiday week. Hahahaha

On Matd, I've really come round to the idea of a buyout as the neighbours must covet our block greatly. Buyout with a retained percentage for us on a free carry, closely followed by an announcement of one or more of the anonymous big investors weighing in big to Sunsteppe. The sp would go to 20p overnight.

Totally agree Thorn. I'm happy to watch and wait, wait and watch. The potential in this company is incredible. And none of it is priced in yet.

Looking at it this way reduces the prognostications of the stockbashing gang to nothing more than the futile bleatings of the terminally irrelevant.

Absolutely spot on Hamm. They're just trying to frighten holders into selling. They're probably the muppets who bought this at 35p when it was nothing more than a wildcatter. Their behaviour is utterly amoral but unfortunately this is the online world now. One day, in the not so distant future, people will look back with incredulity at this first Internet generation for not trying to regulate it like any other public space and at our cavalier attitude to freedom; we now live in a world where freedom is only expressed as 'freedom to; we need to rediscover that freedom also encapsulates 'freedom from'.

It is both weird and incredibly dishonest.
