Just to hammer the point home, anyone suggesting a delay with the sign-off from Petro China head office needs to post evidence of how long they usually take to sign these things off. As yet, no evidence of this kind has been forthcoming. 'Late' or 'delayed' in this context are implicit comparatives so what are they comparing it to?

And anyway, if you truly believe that there is something untoward about the length of time for the sign-off and that this can only portend bad news, then you have the option to sell up. Asking a bulletin board for certainty is pointless. Nobody can provide certainty. It's an an AIM share.

The most recent RNS said it was sent off by the operator of block 19 to the parent company for sign-off. Nobody knows how long this will take, not even Mike Buck. The m8d Jan RNS made it clear that the agreement with the operator was done but Buck clearly didn't realise there was another sign-off by the parent company to be secured at that time. The most recent RNS had to correct this and I reiterate that those spreading theideathat this second sign-off is 'delayed' need to provide evidence for this. Nobody knows how long PC takes to do this sort of thing, not even Mike Buck. This is why the company are exploring alternative routes to market. The current FUD being spread is that there is a delay veing created by Petro China head office. Where's the evidence to support this? There has been none posted on here yet.

If any stockbasher who is arguing that the sign-off is late or delayed then they need to post a comparison to show this ie 'late' compared to what or when? What previous deal are they comparing it to, to be able to say it is 'late' or 'delayed'? Or perhaps let us all know what detailed knowledge they have of Petro China's internal admin processes for this sort of deal.

If the stockbashers cannot provide this sort of evidence to support their claims of the sign-off being late then it is patently clear that they are trying to spread unsubstantiated FUD. As usual.

If the question is about the sign-off, then the answer is simple; it's neither late, early nor on-time as nobody has the first clue as to PC's internal processes for this sort of thing. I have no idea why anybody is asking about this asits a complete unknown for everybody. Anybody trying to suggest it is late needs to post a recent comparable timeliness for sign-off by PC with a similar-sized oil company in Mongolia otherwise it is just making mischief.

Moreover, the company was honest enough to admit that they have no idea too - why would they? - which is why they are setting up an alternative route to market in case of delay.

Any stockbasher suggesting the sign-off is late needs to offer evidence for this. This is always the answer to such questions. Or redirect their question to Petro China who are the only entity who can answer it and provide the certainty the stockbashers demand.

That's exactly why I'm expecting the sp to drive up rapidly once the newsflow starts up again. We crossed a line when got production going which puts most of the negative news in the past. There will be pitfalls along the way but I like the way this company is positioned now. I was particularly pleased that the last update was very much about consolidation of what we have, meaning the company should build sustainably and not recklessly as happened with bankrupt outfits like COPL, or share factories like UKOG.

Well, im not a big investor -I have over a million and will not sell until this plays out fully. I genuinely believe this could deliver big. I'm sure there are many others who feel the same. Getting this far, producing oil without debt, with the local government behind us and with a manageable number of shares has changed everything for me. I can see me holding and adding for several years to come.

As I thought, clearly some thoughts that news might land early next week. Ticking up as we head towards Friday afternoon. Even if it's not the signature, we could easily get an update on Heron work programme, re-entry at Gazelle and Gobi, something exciting at Sunsteppe, or even a heads-up on our preferred JV partner 'entity'. Or any combo of the above. Or anything we haven't yet thought of? Exciting times and the window for waiting and watching is starting to close.

Anyway, all looking tickety-boo here as the new season gets under way. Temperatures looking a bit more reasonable in Mongolia. Plan of works ready to go on Her9n 1 and 2, Gobi and Gazelle, nice injection of cash for the stored oil heading our way at just the right time, Buck talking to JV partner(s), Sunsteppe CEO talking to investors under confidentiality agreements, new PSC incoming, no debt hanging around our neck, refinery and pipeline being built.

All rather exciting really. And nothing the coordinated stockbashing sub-humans can do about any of it.
