Thanks. Let’s not turn on each other but keep PG and bod in our sights and hold their feet to the fire 🔥 over this whole debacle. As I see it, they potentially baited the hook with an illusion.

Very cool response HH from you. Firstly I didn't act out of greed. As mentioned in previous posts, I had paid half of my late mother's dementia care costs and was blown away by how my own financial planning for later life could fall short.
I would say I was motivated by desperation and fear but not greed. I am sure many small cap investors are hoping to make enough profit for sports cars and luxury holiday etc. Those things don't float my boat as they say.
I didn't instruct the pension company to purchase the shares, I did that myself autonomously, which is how a SSAS works.
Feel free to cast aspersions or be negative towards me, that's your choice. I will do what I can to help myself / us where I can.

Guess you’re right, shows how much I know eh?

Hi Sianna
I did leave a message with a receptionist but not heard back!
Michael
This is the message I sent to my contact at the pension company. I have had an out of office type reply to say the person is on holiday. From memory, she will be back in the office within a week.
I hear what you say, bashing me over the head regarding a TR1 but would that have changed the fact that PG is keeping DKE from being taken out of suspension?
FWIW, he probably paid for the auditing of the company accounts with MY money. Regardless, I have done other things to try and resolve this but like the rest of us here I can't "force" PG/DKE to do what they don't want to do!!
Good morning XXXX
I am writing to you as my regular contact at XYZ Ltd in the hope that you can help me, or direct me to the best person.
From previous correspondence you will know that I had an investment through my SSAS into Dukemount plc which was a main market listed business supposedly about to be involved in a reverse takeover with significant upside.
I was ‘in and out’ of this company a couple of times with different investments, but my current investment which is currently ‘trapped there’ is c £91k.
The share has now been suspended for almost a year and there is a strong feeling amongst some investors (which include me) that there has been wrongdoing/ deception by the lead board player in this (it almost looks like a one man company) and that some actions should be taken.
I find it incredible that there is not more oversight of a main market listed company and that the sort of behaviour we have seen is allowed to happen.
In my position in making the investment decisions for the SSAS I received a big caution from Interactive Investor on a similar investment to the point that I did not invest. I received no such warning from them on Dukemount.
I would like to understand what is the position on this now if we wanted to take some action. My sense is that it is the pension scheme trustees technically own the shares, and given the detriment to the scheme’s assets are the people who need to contact the company to make the case and take that forward.
I think there is potentially a separate issue with ii in lack of care to me as an inexperienced investor – but I am less concerned about that here.
Could you advise me on my / your position in this please as I believe we need to act promptly before all trails are covered and the company ceases to exist and they have ‘got away with it’
If a Zoom call to discuss is easier please let me know.
Many thanks,
Michael

I agree. I have had no directions/ support from them on this. I am a non financial type of person and have left them to look after my interests.
Michael
Hi all
I will get the pension company to do the paperwork ( I have a phobia of filling in legal forms ) and sign what I need to sign. I pay them a monthly fee and have my own account manager so I might as well use them.
Mark
I hear what you say about TR1, but I am not the direct shareholder.
M
My pension company has its own legal team so that could be good
Hi folks
I have contacted my pension company for advice / intervention as they are technically the owner of the shares. I am a beneficiary.
Michael
Hi Sianna
Thanks, I picked up your email and phoned that company and left a message.
Michael
One of the most frustrating things is that PG isn'y giving us any real hope / info.
Yes, I know he has to abide by certain rules but he's acting like a someone in a police interview just giving "no comment"
I agree with trout and cunning fox, DKE will put every obstacle in our way to prevent an EGM happening.
Michael
Thanks Erebus
I asked PG if it would help if I lodged a TR1. No wonder he didn't respond.....lol.
In any event I own 10% + of the company. If I have to use a TR1 as leverage I will.
Michael
Erebus
Good points made!
I don't know what the EGM rules are. Any ideas?
Michael
What I can't fathom is how can a main market listed company be apparently so devoid of oversight / corporate governance?
DKE for all intents and purposes is a "one man band"? The name of Geoffrey Dart never get mentioned? Why?
Michael
Masonmaster
I agree with you.
The term "serial entrepreneur" used to be a badge of honour but in this context it just is just makes me feel we have been played for fools.

Where there's life there is hope!
I will wait to the end of August and send PG another message via LinkedIn.
Michael

Thank you for your supportive comments.
I fear you may be right. Like I said I can't do anymore to make good things happen.
I've got a couple of interesting projects right now to put my energies into, so onward and upwards
