Imagine this was your own business and you had 15m ounces, 2/3 of which was palladium and 1/3 platinum. Ignore for simplicity time value of money, other very expensive minerals e.g. rhodiam @ $16000 an ounce etc.
At 30p per share and with 2.759B shares, you are valuing each ounce at a mere £55. Now here is the thing. This is your business and you know the market price for each ounce of palladium and platinum is $2200 and $1000 respectively. Therefore, the average sp is $1800. The AISC to produce each ounce is a mere $350 thus producing a net profit of $1450 per ounce. Considering this was your business and knowing you can make $1450 an ounce , would you be willing to flog it at a value which gets you $55 an ounce?
