Thats what I thought initially but on doing further research I found out that they can represent both.

According to 2020 Lega500 report (see link) to which all law firms have to provide latest information which are then verified before being published, for DLA PIPER, look at KEY CLIENTS under Miming and Minerals. Norlisk Nickel do not feature. Infact, top one in their list is Imerys Minerals which I found out has a market cap of only around 2B.

However, as per DLA site, you now have under Mining "Selection of our clients" Norilsk Nickel listed there which has market cap of 42B. See link.

The point I am making is DLA for sure has only been recently engaged by NN to advise them on a "Transaction" and this can only be relating to Mergers and Acquisitions advice since NN's "long standing" lawyers have always been Debevoise & Plimpton. See link

Would it not be the company policy to list current clients only?

I have checked the deals on their website from Nov 2019 to Nov 2020 and I could not find any deal where they have advised Norilsk Nickel. And, this makes sense as Debevoise & Plimpton have been their long established lawyers. See attached link.

Agree MiddleEast. The company fundamentals have not changed a bit. In fact, if it stays low, its an opportunity to add more.

There is nothing stopping DLA Piper advising both NN and EUA. From the site "CEE LEGAL MATTERS", although it appears that Debevoise & Plimpton has advised LONGSTANDING CLIENT, PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel" including recently in September 20 on its USD 500 million Eurobond offering due 2025, the DLA Piper site shows NN listed under "Mining selection of clients".

Managed a top up today. Looking good.

And one final point, because its intra- group, it should not be price- sensitive. However, the 5/11 note does not appear on their site after the dividend disclosure on 3/11 which does appear on their site

I am very surprised that it requires a quorum of 13 Board Directors to approve the guarantee of supply of metals (AND THAT TOO INTERNALLY) from a subsidiary (ANOTHER GROUP COMPANY). I DO NOT BELIEVE IT

A quick question -

Why does the 'deal approval' page on 5/11 posted here on Thursday at 17.10 (from DALE02) not appear on NN site?

(Just checked their website - Investors - Disclosure - Statement of Material Facts). Last one showing there is the 3/11 RE: Dividend

I think what we will have is mixed bag of a sale (MT 15m oz part)+ sale of WK + a JV of the type we have seen with Newmont and OMI for the MT potential in excess of 15m oz up to 40m oz or more.

No worries Trek - and I hope so. What I liked about the CEO was that he first got the option to acquire the license, got some work done by Terra Search and then decides to act on that option.
