Well if all they are prepared to pay is 3 million for a two year deal then Tom will be disappointed I expect. Have I read that correctly ? It would come nowhere near the 10 pounds per user per month Tom was mooting a while back. That said if they can get nhsx under their belt it will be an endorsement for approaches to private hospitals and international health systems.

We still haven’t had a trading update for the 31 May 2020 year end so hopefully that will arrive shortly.

The foreign permanent enterprise only applies where the company carries on business abroad through a branch. There is no separate foreign company merely an overseas branch or office of the U.K. company. Our situation involved a US Separate COmpany That election doesn’t apply therefore.

Yes Motif inc was managed and controlled in the us. A us resident subsidiary of a U.K. holding company.

A U.K. company is taxed on worldwide income. So if motif inc had profits AND paid those as dividends to the U.K. owner the U.K. company would be taxed on that income. If no dividend is paid then there is no U.K. income to tax for corporation tax purposes. They are separate entities. If motif inc was a branch that would be different but it wasn’t.So The US losses cannot be offset in any way against the U.K. company profits There is no group loss relief either in these circumstances.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. I worked at pwc for a while! There are many reasons why the losses are lost I only quoted the main reason. You cannot use US losses Against a U.K. company’s profits . This myth keeps resurfacing.

I would imagine that this is anticipating or at least planning for the Lump sum sale proceeds of stonechecker or part thereof

Technik the company buys back through the market There is no requirement for individual shareholders to do anything or sell. The idea is that the directors believe the shares are undervalued on future prospects so they buy them in and cancel That means they have on our behalf bought out some owners of the business for a bargain price while the rest of the owners now own the same business but there are less of us so our individual shares are worth more. Of course we know the directors hold a big share of the company so it is in their interests as well as ours. Often there is a p e for a company. The e is earnings per share. Less shares mean more earnings per share so the p e effect will be bigger. No applicable in our case yet! But the basic principle still holds. A cake that is sliced into fewer pieces mean bigger slices

Actually I really like him. He’s bright but also has a good sense of humour and is down to earth . Very honest of him to say he cant afford to buy shares as he is still recovering from public service pay !

In one of the videos he said they had enough Needed funds for the moment. But then he went on to say that IF they needed to ramp up because if demand for the product they would then raise more. I think this is a few months earlier than he anticipated and to me is a sure sign he believes the demand is now sufficiently strong that he needs to press home the advantage and really go to town on delivery and further expansion. So good news in my opinion

I haven't the history here that others have so less cross!
My own take is that he has always talked about working within a tight budget to achieve worthwhile results which I was impressed with ,and today's talk was straight. So have a fair few of these at a 50 per cent loss but I think it may come good in time. I dont see bull but I do see impatience with the market
