Chinese may be cheap but not reliable (see USA, Spain etc al) At least WHEN approval comes our product will be good and Damm have order already placed. IMHO we will go antibody test eventually but in the meantime it's all about approval.......

I have just had an update from Paul at Walbrook given to him by CFO at Abingdon and it appears my initial evaluation of The Link (registrar) was founded!!!!
The reply "Abingdon has again spoken to LINK and they’ve now been told there was an issue with their mailing company which has only just come to light. Abingdon have asked for this issue to be resolved as a matter of urgency and they have confirmed that the CREST file has been initiated and will be released on Thursday morning. Once this is done refund cheques will be sent by special delivery. We are expecting a further update from LINK once payments in CREST have settled and cheques have been mailed"
Did think mention of "cheques" was weird, who uses them these days, all computer electronic transfers these days ?

NO PLACING. COMPANY NOT EVEN CONTEMPLATING THIS. STOP SCAREMONGERING WITH SUGGESTION!
Calm it all down, patience is called for here.
If I had my money back from The Link (Abingdon open offer) I would be buying here at this crazy cheap sp! We are set for a surge, come approval will fly! Imho

Money left my HL account on 16th, shares trading on 21st and we are now 12th of a different YEAR !!!!
It should not take anywhere near this length of time to return. Needs a rocket up their arsenal!!
As we all know, if we owed them you would see immediate action on their part.
Well it's Abingdon loss, I can't afford to buy more until the money is returned!!!!

I spoke again with Paul at Walbrook who has spoken with Melanie (CFO) at Abingdon to chase The Link (registrars for the open offer) They agree the refund is well overdue and I hope Melanie has a way to get sense/money out of The Link. I have phoned them five times now, the last call was yesterday lasting 55 minutes ( a lot of waiting in a cue) but could not speak to anyone who had any idea what I was talking about. Their final suggestion was that I ask HL to email the operational support team explaining what the issue was??? Not that it's worth anything but they guy I spoke with did raise a "compaint"and gave me a reference number.......so that was nice!
They are quick enough to take money but fraudulently and scandalously slow in returning OUR money. I did not agree to a loan!!!!!

Pumpky:- I would also have purchased with refund so they have saved me. All the same the delay in refund is excessive by anyones standards.

I spoke with Walbrook on Friday and they have emailed Abingdon CFO. I did try, on Friday, speaking to the registrars but was worse than speaking to the worst call centre you have EVER EVER EVER experienced. They sounded like the look of a cat caught in the headlights of a car and having made four calls and each had the same response, I was moved from department to department with each as unknowing and vacuous as the last. I lost the will to continue!!!

Just a side question while the merits of the RNS are debated, has everyone had their refund yet?

Who also asked me to email him with details and he would take it up with Abingdon.
