RE: Aber4 Jun 2019 13:30
The last raise was on the smaller size. IMO, this was because the board only wanted enough funds to tide them over until a milestone and\or an upfront from a TYK deal. Again. IMO. The board must believe one of the two (or both) will materialise before we need to raise again.
We've got Honda saying SAR are going down the pan. Maybe, AIM is risky and you can lose everything. If you can't afford to lose everything, don't throw everything at it. Yesterday's news from Sierra has derisked CHK1 for the time being and it's almost guaranteed our milestone. Unless you are invested in SRRA, why worry what their SP is doing. We win if they raise, we win if they get taken over and its a set figure of 88 million dollars (give or take a bit we've already had). Personally, I think they will on the licence or sell CHK1 to fund Momelotinib. Like I said. either way, we win. I think we have a wait until Aug, was it? the date for the 10Q. That's when SAR's fortunes will change. If milestones are not provisioned in the 10Q, we'll have to raise. We could, of course, get a TYK2 deal in the meantime. That would change everything.
Stop worrying about Sierra' s SP and investors. They will find the money because they have to. I'm not bothered if it's a good deal for their investors. They owe us what the contract says they own us.
And finally. My average is 0.74 so I'm underwater. but when SAR do come good, and I believe they will. I will go and look for Honda on a share i'm not invested in and go and do my best Harry Enfield "look at my wad" impression. If he thinks he's bitter now!
