Depends what you mean by imminent. Certainly we'll get news of trial applications and possibly milestones in the next couple of months. Think it was Afham who mentioned poker. I believe he's right. We'll always be on the back foot Chesh. Half of the problem here is a lot on this board think we are much further on, in development terms, than we really are. Yes, other TYK2's out there are worth hundreds of millions but ours hasn't been tested on humans yet. Massive bridge to cross. Most new drugs never get past this stage. The other problem we have is cash. If we had 5 mils in the back, I don't think we'd even be entertaining others yet. Unfortunately, we don't have money in the bank and the company have to come to us for the money. If anyone doesn't like that idea, then AIM isn't for you.

I agree with others here. I think we've found a potential suitor but something isn't right so we are going to fund the start of P1 ourselves. IMO, this can only push the price up.

My sentiments exactly, stoney. You haven't got any negotiation clout if you aren't willing to walk away from the deal. Funding the P1 trial ourselves, or at least starting it. Gives us the this advantage. And gives potential paterners the message that we can and will walk away.

marine - I don't doubt we are down to the wire but the size of the raise and small dilution suggests the board believe we won't need to raise again this year. I still think we'll get a milestone announced this year. I'm convinced this small raise is to cover the application of P1 trails for one of the TYK2 compounds. IMO we'll know in the next month or two. We may also know about any milestones due in that time.

Aber - this is just progress TYK2, no operating costs. The placing will just be enough to satisfy the trial application which they are obligatted to do. As JT says, it looks like the board still believe something else is pending. This will hopefully cover operating costs. Once these shares are admitted, we'll get news on what the funds were for. IMO, it will be trial application. My average is 0.74 and its shit looking at the loss but I see this as progress. The SP has nothing to do with Parker, the sp will rise with progress. I'm feeling excited about this.

The CHK1 trail was granted 4 months after the application. We'll get the application RNS in the next month IMO. Part of that application is securing the funds which we now have done.

I don't know Chesh. I can't believe, he isn't doing anything. Tim and John must be happy with his performance and others who work with him must be too? CHK1 is already licenced, Aurora has issues and TYK2 wasn't ready to be licenced. It is now. How would you go about attracting II's with that kind of portfolio? The problem is. Some here have been expecting SAR to soar a good few years before they ever could. That isn't Parkers fault. No one could live up to the 28p expectations.

I believe we'll get something before we have to raise. And if we do, I don't care if they get more options. We win if they win. That's how it works. SAR has been built and into a company that could be worth hundreds of millions and they have done it with less than 20 million of our money. You might not like Parker but this is AIM and this is how it works

I fluctuate between 2.5 and 3 million. I never go below 2.5 million. I get a work bonus in Aug. Generally enough to buy half a million @0.7p, I will buy in Aug if not more than 0.8p. I'm 50 this year and getting more risk adverse. SAR are by far my biggest holding in my ISA. Happy trading (gambling) 2k at a time and talking 10% profit if/when I see it. I also moved 20k from my ISA into my pension which is is top skim off everything. I'm saying all this because I think AIM finished as an investment vehicle. Its gambling at best. So yes I'd buy more but only with money I can afford to lose.

Why do people think it isn't early days? It's always been 2020. Most informed posters on here have said repeatedly that 2020 will be when the sp kicks off. Tim has said the same. TYK2 could be amazing for SAR but as yet, it is untested. Still think we'll get a licence deal this year but I'm not expecting to be Selling any shares until next year or possibly 2021.
