Every board practically on LSE just becomes an echo chamber for rampers, dare try and evaluate or give a different view and your toast. Half the time its not worth the effort.

When i invest, i want all views good and bad, i cant evaluate in an echo chamber hence most boards offer me little advantage.

FYI i actually like this business and i specifically like Jim who is a really decent guy and honest broker. He has my maximum respect trying to build this business in challenging conditions.

Sure - The deal agreed an initial consideration of £1.3m to Val, the deal signed by PYC agreed a 6% fee hence £ 78k due on the first payment. The other milestones VAL agreed are based on IF the drug enters trials and if the drug has success at those said trials. I had zero confidence that THX would ever get any funding tbh but a tweet from Patrick Frankham after close tonight hints to funding, so tomorrow they may confirm same. Of course we don't know if enough cash to start trials or milestone results that's another matter and that's way ,way off and wont help PYC short term if at all.

But the £78k would come in useful to Jim if that comes over the line this year that's for sure.

I tell it as i see it, still a long way to go, its not for me with this BOD and cash burn, no long term confidence.

NO it will not you are believing your own BS now.

Firstly, if VAL get the £1.3m paid before the end of the year great it materially helps but it still wont meet the cash burn. They need another placing alongside of same to give them a 12 month runway. But they would certainly be better placed.

Secondly, until we know IF/ how much cash THX raised we don't know if they have enough to fund trials or not and moreover if they do have enough and they can get them started, any later milestones only get paid IF the drug proves to be a success but at least it gets a shot. That could be at least another 18mths to 2 years or more later.

As for the Labs side, bloody forget it, at best it will only ever contribute small amounts. Just review the CRO market, if they can deliver 20% bottom line they are doing well. one scientist can generate £175k revenue and £25k to the bottom line. This is labour intensive work. The cash burn is £2.4m how many scientists will they need and how many contracts to generate that?. At its height Imogen had 34 staff and still couldn't make a profit. So forget that its pocket change stuff.

The big money is in drug licensing with big pharma

CLX is a good two years plus off BUT if the THX money lands and Suzy secures the placing that gives them most of 2024 to hopefully get some new evaluations started.

As i say, i'm still not a fan of this BOD or the direction and cash burn needs materially reducing but if Suzy gets the £1.3m in the bank before year end, fair play to her.

Great post, spot on.

The Patrick Frankham tweet after close was bullish and very encouraging. Possibly the most positive and if he is suggesting he has completed some funding then hopefully you do get that RNS in the morning confirming same and the £1.3m lands before cash runs out end of the year providing they don't try and renegotiate due to the change in market conditions. The devil will be in the detail as they say.

With the Cash burn at £2.4m i don't much care what the rampers say, Suzy will still need a placement alongside but it materially increases her chances of getting it with proof of concept and that would extend the cash runway into 2024.

We still need major board changes and massive reduction to the cash burn as i see it but all eyes for news tomorrow. If Frankham completed then hands up, it shuts me up well and truly as i thought THX the worst deal known to man and would never complete. That's of course if they do pay up. I would still be worried if they could fund trials in the future but that's something else, put out one fire at a time.

Equally through, if no RNS tomorrow or that £1.3m doesn't land before the year end then her reputation will be shot to pieces, the placing will be an emergency job again.

Wishing all well for tomorrow, I'm still not a buyer as dilutive placings will keep coming and i have zero confidence in the BOD but time it right, there could be money to made getting in and out at the right time if that RNS does land, jut don't get too greedy.

A heck of a lot of ramping on VAL board today and removal of posts not agreeing.

IMO the THX wont pay VAL anything, its "The Emperor's New Clothes" that people are buying into today.

Just amazed you can still fool some of the people some of the time.

As for PYC the deal is worth exactly £ 78,000 to them IF it was paid up to VAL at £1.3m but i put that event at absolute zero.

At least you got a lift here on the back of that hype, which is a positive for holders.

Wrong - Something is only worth what someone will pay you for it. CLX is more than two years away with dev work before they can even look at a spin out.

They need a heck of a lot of lab work to cover £2.4m of costs and a lot of time and money to get there.

Quality ramping today though - 10/10 but there will be a heck of a lot holding the baby if they don't get out pre placement.

But clearly you can fool some of the people some of the time and to be fair, it has surprised me because it proves how little research buyers do and will still punt on something if there is hype behind it.

Correct, but the name of the game is not facts, its about creating hype and a template page can help that hype.

What you want @PM2022 is for this forum to be an echo chamber and suck unsuspecting newbies into buying this stock knowing full well a placing is about to land at significant discount.

What Suzy is saying and what you are hearing are two different things. You @PatientInvestor and @fredd1boy are a) emotionally invested and b) desperately clinging on. None of the three of you have the ability to stand back, look at the track record, look at the financial statements and what is put out officially by RNS and evaluate this.

The BOD themselves have avoided buying shares for a reason and that’s because they know they will need far more placements and time to get even close to break even with the current cash burn.

And you are VERY wrong about me, the stock remains on my watch list in the event of a) the BOD changing, Suzy is a great scientist but a dire CEO b) cash burn being slashed to at least half and c) a major change in direction and business plan. As it stands it’s totally uninvestable BUT that may ultimately change.

Using your terminology @PM2022 when Turner Pope secure support and they can get it away at 3p or 4p the RNS will be issued and the MMs will immediately gap down the share price by 50% or so to match it.

I don’t think they will go bust. They are veterans at raising cash.

What will happen is they will instruct Turner Pope to secure what they can with the current authority. Based on current market conditions if they act fairly soon they might get £600k to £800k at 3p to 4p tops which will ensure they all have a good Christmas and give them more space into first quarter 24.

Ultimately they will need to do a £2.4m raise to give them a 12 month runway but to do that you are probably talking a 1p placing and they will need an egm to secure the headroom to support that and at that point imo share holders a) won’t support it without serious cash burn reductions and b) if it’s a case of lights out if SH don’t support then SH won’t re-elect them and also I’m not 100% Adam will want to tip up another £500k to support them either, Money better invested in his APTA play.

Anyhow as I say see how it plays out but in short no, they won’t go bust but you will be diluted to oblivion - that’s how I see it

There is no agenda here I have been around a bit you know and I just don’t like to see good people being taken advantage of. It’s not right, maybe I have grown older and wiser but there is a pattern here and it keeps repeating. The raises are continual, the dilution continual, the spin continual and the cash from investors keeps coming. Suzy and the board are taking SH for complete and utter mugs imo. They won’t invest themselves because they know this needs more cash resulting in more and more dilution with the current new business plan.

They are not imo telling you the full picture they are wordsmiths and that last Q&A was to tell you what you want to hear but close enough to the wire to avoid saying 201 won’t complete and the raise will be completed shortly.

Meanwhile Suzy is drawing here £160k and bonuses, looking after her family and her holiday let’s, most likely working from home on a cushy number whilst some shareholders here are out seriously grafting, working their nuts off to make ends and entrusting the board here with their hard earned cash which the board doesn’t value. Some of these investors are salt of the earth and think the board will share their same moral compass but unfortunately the board doesn’t. Some Businesses can be brutal and this is a business not a charity.
