i think those three 500k buys at 14.2 are buys not sells. i think they pushed the pushed the bid to 14.2, 15.9 already at the top end. crazy times

We had a big retrace yesterday intra-day, the afternoon it was brought back into.

Still suspect a major buyer accumulating, we see periodically 250k chunks being purchased. Short term traders don't tend to do that. If they are buying say £30K of stock they will do it in smaller bits. 100k a go for example. But if you want to buy say 5% of the business, 30m of shares then you are likely to buy 250k chunks and drip feed them in to stock major spikes.

I fee major confident here, this is the journey to 30p and far beyond if JV news lands,

A few itchy fingers but looks very similar to the previous rally. Expecting us to test high 20s within the next couple of weeks.

It's 3% However, i understand you only need to declare once the transaction is completed. You have so many days to report after you cross the threshold. So nothing, for example to stop someone accumulating over a number of days and then issue the TR1.

I am on the same page tbh, someone is acquiring not just retail buying, we had a big fall back today from 14% down to 4% which was retail profit taking etc but it was brought straight back into.

For 3% - They need to secure just over 18m shares For 5% its 30m shares, would take more than a few days to fill that gradually imo without alerting the market. It would be mid to late next week before we had a clue imo.

Confident this is going to run back towards 30p fairly quickly. If news does land of a JV with a major we are looking at a significant step change north.

I mean, i can give it a good go but we are seeing some serious take up on the fall backs. It would not surprise me if we see a TR1 land later this week. That's of course if they have completed the transaction.

More confident than ever of 20p+ in short time...

News of a JV landing and we are talking a game changing move, perhaps someone is in the know is accumulating...

If JV news does drop then we are talking a serious step change to the share price. I do wonder, I also wonder the way the MMs are playing this if there is a commercial interest a fund or other taking a position here and they are having to fill it?

Tend to agree but it could well go much greater scale quicker depending on the partner. DM exact wording was:-
"We will have a MOU for a partnership with a major producer..."

Now Major - its what that means, if we are talking the likes of Shell or Total or even one of the big regional players then clearly they would have the capacity to really open up this facility far quicker and extract greater volumes quicker. I keep coming back to how gigantic this region is with my 12 Isle of Wight's comparison

Could be a potential game changer to drop....

Not sure a couple of grands worth of shares will make much odds, sounds like a paperwork adjustment...

News on the JV is what we are waiting for now imo

logic should dictate that a bounce will come some point. Need it though sustained and not sold into that can only come once SO is fully closed out ad ideally on great Data readouts to ensure buying support

Interested to see what update drops but i believe its sooner than we think, he was out recently talking to potential backers in the middle east - i do wonder if something will come from that also? Is a TR1 going to land later this week confirming an increased holding? Volumes are certainly still up.

I can see us going right back to 30p and far far beyond should news of a JV drop which i think likely. Pocket change at this level, the update puts this well and truly back on the map but this is just the start, another two or three updates could land here fairly close to each other imo.

Part of me still thinks the obscene delays at PD or more likely from the DHSC side, it simply can’t take this long to approve a test, are totally deliberate. Are they just sitting on the approved test data? I believe it’s deliberate because they want to justify the ongoing decisions to continue buying Chinese cheap crap.

As far as I’m concerned Novacyt’s business has been nobbled all along by our own government with DHSC and as for our ongoing dispute, only a government body could drag it out this long. If it was a nongovernment B2B contract, I believe terms would have settled by now Imo.

I’m glad Novacyt took the move to open Novacyt USA and start moving more and more sales outside the UK, I really hope that David provides more clarity there in the trading update.

The stronger worldwide sales are, and external white label deals done the better as far as I’m concerned. I do wonder if some of this corruption at DHSC that Bethell was involved in is actually higher up the chain. Nothing has changed despite the appointment changes at DHSC as far as I’m concerned.

Roll on the trading update and Roll on the final DHSC dispute resolution which should boost our flagging share price when it finally lands.

Don't know who Capri1 is but we see a number of new posters join LSE that amazingly know who i am. Odd that.
I post less often here these days due to constant trolling but i still have a right to an opinion.

How can i not say Novacyt was my PIG of 2021, I lost 140k on it. I have been very open about that. The loss seriously dented my portfolio. Despite that i am still hopeful of a miraculous turnaround with the results, hence why i still have a holding here not long to to wait now. We will see.

No point in going over old ground is there, we know why we are here, nobody no matter how much research done could foresee the events that unfolded. From the DHSE debacle, GM not disclosing the picture until after his bonus, Jim Bethell doing deals with the Chinese, shorters hitting us hard and so on, it all contributed.

Anyhow, David still has a chance to turn things around. Lets see what his first major update looks like shortly and go from there. In the meantime, those obsessed with me, just let it go. Do your research into stocks make your own calls.
