Must say guys, Looks impressive.
Well Underground Boulby on the news, I hope you guys ain't steeling our Ideas ! :)
All you need is a helipad and half a dozen Chinooks !
Can you please give me the heads up, how Boulby is so Inefficient ?
Na I didn't suggest using the Esk, I merely dangled a carrot for you guys to chew on :)
But Boulby did you a feasibility study on Port Mulgrave not to long ago, trading the cost off against maintaining the rail line .
Obviously there's reason, why didn't Sirius open a port at Whitby. Have a process plant on site , short in comparison conveyor straight to a terminal. Just thinking it might have been a cheaper option.
Isn't this what Sirius does, it's a development company and not a mining company. I could be wrong, tin hat on.
10 million tonnes is some going, I personally can't see how it can achieve it, Also the size of the process plant needed, That's some scale !
I hope I get proved wrong !
Boulby equipment might be better than you think !
All recent 20t shuttle cars, refurbished joy miners, new Joy crusher/feeders , twin boom bolters, new online ratio feeder and new Dabmar screen with new Joy secondary crusher.
You will find when mining Poly it knocks the hell out of it. Hardly clapped out!
All honesty I'm not sure, I do 12 hour shifts, underground but I never see any trucks around 5 am or 5 pm and I don't think they are allowed to go through Easington, they either go up Grinkle or Ellerby to get to the moor road.
7am to 10pm is running through peek traffic times, school runs ect, wouldn't night transport be a better option.
Would be nice to have a proper bedtime, just smashed out 2 x 12 hour nights, If I hear any trucks in the morning, they will be hell on !
At BP we have a curfew, trucks have set times to lead the poly.
I'm surprised CF has bought any, I'm sure with the challenges ahead he is more interested in his project rather than should I spend 10k or 100k on shares.
Actually I mined 950 tones of poly last night, so nope, keeping my name thanks.
I might be 100% wrong, I've been buying in to Sirius for 3 and a half years but I'm looking to buy more shares to bring my average down, I've got it down to 8p now and I see it the only way I might break even one day.
At what point would there be an announcement of any significant changes ?
I have thick skin my old fruit, the next few months are going to be very interesting,
Don't jump on me FFC, it's not my decision who takes over what, and what a surprise you have ago at me and not Leppington (sorry buddy)
I know the order book is very healthy at boulby, but i'm not here to convince anyone how boulby is doing, I simply agreed with a post someone else has posted, cheers.
I agree with you, I mentioned this a few weeks ago, It didn't go down well, Boulby is getting big orders from all around the world, I can't say it would be a surprise if they did.
