Indeed, the wastewater monitoring is a fantastic innovation and one I’m looking forward to seeing. I just enjoy throwing ideas around and if the spittoon isn’t an option, the suggestion that was made of a breathalyser could work - particularly as it’s something being looked at by a team in Israel. What they don’t have is affimers that would help ensure it’s a specific test. This combo could make it something worth exploring, if not straight away then at some point, as an instant test would be incredible to reopening all of the economy.

He just so happened to mention a 10 min saliva test that can be used at home for mass screening. The fact there’s only one happens to be very useful if you own or want to buy shares in the company behind it :-)

All we’ve heard so far officially via RNS is that we’re getting the test clinically validated by LSTM with the assistance of Condor. That would be for CE marking for POC.

Matt Handjob today has said they’re evaluating a 10 min saliva test for mass screening and he’s mentioned Porton Down. This appears to be a separate evaluation. This sounds like self testing at home. I’d always assumed that would follow down the line later after POC. Don’t underestimate what we’ve heard today. This is HUGE. This is straight to the full mass screening market, straight to being used at airports.

We’re gonna need a bigger boat... The govt order, and it’s definitely on the way, will give Sir Al full confidence to get the additional manufacturing partners in place at massive scale. Imagine how many once Trump hears of it. Then additional global demand.

The article is garbage as we’re not producing antibody tests and not part of the consortium. Still, nice to get a mention. Given the money that’s been p.ssed against the wall on other tests, at least this advice will result in a game changer coming to market.
