Unfortunately I agree with muggins. Today was hyped to be a solution and it’s far from it. It’s nonsensical to suggest that people will buy big lumps of tech or they should travel whilst possibly positive and find out when they’re outside a venue surrounded by hundreds or thousands of other people. I sold the second I saw that mini fridge ‘VHS player’. The solution has been dreamt up completely independently of reality. It’s a lovely vision of jam tomorrow, but as detailed by Muggins the route to market is unclear nevermind the solution doesn’t appear fit for purpose. If it’d been presented as a prototype and an idea I’d have had more sympathy, but the weeks of hype was ridiculous.

I’ve left my original stake in as I believe that the wastewater monitoring can play a vital part in controlling Covid. I hope that no more money is wasted on what is effectively a slight improvement on the iAbra device that was recently mocked and ridiculed. The improvement was the inclusion of affimers. It’s great to hear (again) that affimers work, but I’ve no real expectations of the breathalyser making it to market. If I’m proven wrong, I’ll eat my words, apologise and be happy as I’m still a shareholder - this evening, a disappointed one.

Therein lies the problem with everyone’s favourite simpleton Global. You can’t reach charts, no wonder you’ve been posting so much sh.t on here for months. I’ve posted my thoughts on both boards. It was a disappointment so I sold a chunk at 62p during the presentation when I saw the mini fridge. I’m now on a free ride and I still think there’s more to come from the commercialisation of the sh.t test. I can see how wastewater monitoring works as part of a Covid strategy. The breathalyser wasn’t what was expected for me.

Probably worth putting the price in context as there have been huge rises over there. Also, the disappointment in their breathalyser solution doesn’t stop the potential in the sh.tty test as well as the rest of the business.

So no chance of my £20 idea then. They really ought to at least try it once

Palaver? Not have a reader that isn’t in your house? The sight of that was when I clicked sell. For an individual it doesn’t work. For businesses to check their staff, yeah, I get it, but by then they’ve spread the virus on their way in. Awacta and its handy self contained LFD still wins the day. It’s no different than the iAbra device in how it practically operates. Also, the pass that you gain, why would it be recognised anywhere, it’s not a proper validated test. I had high hopes, but it’s just about the sh.tty test for me now. If it takes off, brilliant, I’ve still got a stake and Awacta gain too.

Sounds like it could be AWS or Microsoft Azure, a cloud based data solution for their global reach. Not long to wait... :-)

Rather than dipping for stop losses, they could try leaping the price to £20. I’d consider a small top slice at that level if they really want some shares

Spot on Chiron, it’s a different market and enables a belt and braces approach of an home test alongside a venue based test that ensures that you can have fully Covid free spaces. All those recreational industries that are suffering can be opened up confidently

Short term thinking. There’s more to come later plus hopefully a ton of PR that will put Deepverge on the map globally so I’m sure there’s a lot more to come. The opportunity is unbelievable given the impact on economies worldwide

The levels of ignorance are incredible. The dangers of investing in a company that was under 20p and is currently trading at 65p. Scary stuff. Anyway, Awacta are not spending any time, they’re supplying affimers.

Oneknows, exactly right. Anyone can see it’s fantastic news apart from the bores that have ridiculous expectations that everything should happen instantly. As it goes, this collaboration means that Covid can be detected instantly, it’s an amazing innovation with affimers at the heart of it.

This is to do with another company, Awacta had to put out an RNS as it refers to their agreement to supply affimers - incidentally the potential of that revenue stream has just increased.

No one should have been or should be expecting anything before the 28th. We’re in the hands of BBI, Abingdon and then the govt. It takes time. It doesn’t affect the outcome.
