Has anyone got a handy lookup? We know that around Q1 is 3 weeks in to Q2. A few weeks is just under a year. Summer rolls through winter in to spring. If we keep a log of these, we’ll eventually be able to translate RNSs successfully.

I think I’d now prefer ‘in due course’, ‘shortly’ and ‘as soon as possible’. They throw out dates like confetti. In the same RNS they say end of April and later they say end of May for ISO. It’s not an important milestone so who cares, but struggling to be consistent in the same document basically tells you to ignore any projected dates and just be patient for it to turn up.

The increase in costs is related to the expansion of the business, it’s a positive. Look at their achievements. All the good stuff that’s on the way is due to those investments. It’s how the business works, R&D costs followed by commercialisation. It’s all covered by the fund raise cash pile, and thanks to the development of the Covid test that might be the last fund raise they ever need.

Also... a pipeline of non-COVID-related in-house diagnostic tests for a range of diseases and conditions being developed to be brought to market from 2022 onwards, adding to long-term COVID-19 testing revenues

Wonder what they’ve got lined up to add to the AffiDx range next year. Having additional long term stable revenues to fund the therapeutics will be fantastic.

The current share price is £2.50, why wouldn’t you take £30 tomorrow? If a big pharma turned up and plonked about £7.5bn on the table the board would look pretty ridiculous not recommending it given its 12 times the current price.

It’s all a bit weird anyway, a bizarre vanity parade as all the foreign/unsuitable tests get wheeled through PD to be accepted on to the DPS where they don’t fulfil the govt’s aim of a sovereign AN test and get kicked back out. The one test that could meet the requirements can’t make it through PD due to the freezer. Nothing would surprise me, could be a direct award, could be a change in requirements to allow us in or could be that they’ve already dug their heels in and that’s why PresAl has taken us down a fully independent route - that ultimately could be way more lucrative

Good find, thanks. Looks like they have plenty to choose from... not necessarily British, not necessarily an AN sample type and of course not necessarily 100% sensitivity. Up to them, it’s going to be a bit awkward if this British innovation ends up going abroad. Never mind. Every extra pound per test we get from elsewhere is added on the profits...

If anyone chooses to invest in a company run by dodgy trev and believe that their impractical test will get to market that's their choice. Carl desperately loves bickering with people on twitter, it's all he does - seemingly on a full time basis, which is why I noted that he didn't want to talk about his test and left it. He's previously argued that their comedy test can be used for events, it's beyond idiotic. Leave them to it. If anyone on here is in there (looks like MrA is...), then good luck, time your trades with pump and dump Trev would be your best bet...

Yes, you’re right. Carl should indeed have that attitude, it’s a real shame he was trying to undermine the incredible results from the clinical validation - 100% within the accepted range for infectious individuals and 98% overall.

Carl is moronically gormless and clearly vastly out of touch with the real world. He was trying to suggest that our clinically proven 100% sensitive lateral flow test designed specifically to identify infectious individuals wasn’t sensitive. I just pointed out their comical shoebox will never be commercialised and he decided to retweet it as he didn’t have an answer. He then started prattling about academics as I told him to get a proper job. These things happen, not sure it’s worthy of a thread on here or there. Seems they’re as sensitive as our world beating test.

Unfortunately our study doesn’t match up to PD phase 3a, so I guess we’ll have to sell the best test elsewhere. It’s as simple as that, either the govt want to procure the best (and a sovereign test) to boot or they don’t. Turns out we’ve smashed the equivalent of 3b so they can either ignore the frozen sample step or stick rigidly to the framework. If we don’t fit the DPS I’d expect them to directly order anyway, it’s not like it matters...
