Definitely agree Spades about some individuals trying to sow doubt but the share pool on these boards must be miniscule in the scheme of the 670m shares on issue. Just need some news in the next few weeks and that will steady the ship and a gold price that now seems to be holding above 3300usd an oz for a few weeks now which is great news.

Yes they have. The volumes are so low - even PRE consolidation we were doing nearly double the volumes of the past week

sorry to hear that tt but fully understand your decision as there is some right ******s on here now and it is difficult to keep filtering them as they keep making more aliases obviously.

Welshinvestor well written post and as much as i am in profit i agree with you that it has been underwhelming to say the least especially with gold holding above $3300 an oz. The listing in oz has not been the panacea that many thought and probably what SD even thought. The over subscription has not materialised in what would appear to be any funds taking up or increasing there holdings. The ASX100 inclusion should though help to have some more larger holders on our registry come October onwards but certainly hope from today onwards we get some news that underpins the current SP and potentially gives it a re-rating as much is being said about the quarterly but the financials are already known to a large extent unless a major upside or downside to those expectations. For me the only catalyst outside of the ASX100 inclusion is a bigger than expected upgrade to resource at Telfer and not sure whether they are still drilling at Haverion for that to be a possible upgrade from the 7m ozs. All you can do is wait and see what happens between here and end of year. I will personally be making my decision towards the end of this year to sell/hold down in my pension, ISA and fund accounts my GGP depending on developments over the next 5 months.

To the more knowledgeable are they still drilling at Haverion to potentially increase the 50MT resource that was announced earlier this year OR is it purely just the FS based on what we know at the moment?

Thanks Element for your post. Agree with all your remarks and the size of the prize is the kicker for the SP in my opinion and Telfer moreso than Haverion in my opinion for short term movement this year.

Yes but comparing almonty with Tungsten west is not comparable. One has multiple operative sites and one is a one trick pony in devon with a govt that does not seem to recognise its importance!

Just popped on here and all i can see is doom and gloom and people justifying why etc. Who cares if your a long term holder.

Change topic - what are peoples guesses on the Telfer upgrade in ozs including the original upgrade early this year? Interested in peoples thoughts and to get away from the daily share price movement discussion!

Thanks Rivaldo for this. What they are saying is my reasoning for buying in at around 15p as i can see a low dividend of say 4-5% but i can see growth in SP while deleveraging is occurring of near 10%+ per annum as well. Nice stock just to hold - it does nothing flashy and now just sit back and let the order book be utilised over the next 2 years and hopefully replenished as well .

Hopefully get a quarterly that discusses some progress on funding.

Yes you would have to sacrifice 2-3 years of production at Haverion on current timeframe to have a larger output longer term but that is under the assumption that Telfer delivers for longer at 300-350k oz per year based on the current drilling program. If not then you have a cap of around 450-500k oz per year and the SP will only go to a certain level as growth will be stunted outside of takeover of other producers with the free cashflow. Again assumption that gold price stays above 3000 and no major movements above the 4000 mark as that changes the goalposts again.

The reason why would be to increase throughput and ultimately ozs out of the ground.

We are all entitled to an opinion and ask questions as that is what i thought this board was for but obviously not!

Bamps your comment about full pelt on the drilling at Telfer really does lead me to believe they want Telfer as a standalone mining operation but to do that need to secure a 10-15 year mine life through increased the indicated resource. Why would they do that - I think strategically a separate processing plant set up at haverion would logistical operations aside allow then a potential 700k oz + operation between the two versus tops 500k oz operation at Telfer. Just my musings but then also you de risk the operations as feeding potentially a different ore type (not sure whether telfer and haverion is different by the way) into the Telfer processing facility you could effect production and output. By leaving Telfer untouched from Haverion ore you de risk the company as a one trick pony to having two processing facilities. Not sure whether energy requirements would be an issue but just for discussion.
