There must be some platform that has got it right as they are trading and up to 3.19 on a huge 4000 odd shares being traded

I am with HL and my GGP shares have disappeared altogether. I presume the new ones will be added sometime today or tomorrow? Anyone any clues on timings?

To the more learned on here how do you value a gold producer.

With many stocks the PE ratio is used but not sure whether this is what is used to value a gold stock. thanks in advance

Bamps - i noticed they did drilling last year in the quarterly updates but been quiet on Ernest Giles the last 2 quarters for obvious reasons. Do you know have they been continuing the drilling there quietly or did they stop and will recommence at some stage in the future?

Spades - well stated. I would not be surprised also that we see some reserves announcement POST the listing in oz on Telfer. If the larger funds in oz did not get there quota at least it caps the current price in oz at 6.60 and the price in the UK after the shenanigans this week on the AIM.

Davies i think highly unlikely that price range as the over subscribed value in oz was 15.78p and the similar goldies on the ASX are at 23p on pre consolidation numbers so unlikely to get back to 12p in my opinion BUT what do i know! - the market will do what it does!

The tree shake is precious and they have hoovered up more shares from the scared PIs. Hold your nerve as would not be surprised to see a dump again tomorrow to get some more cheaper shares PRE consolidation. It opens in oz at 6.60 AUD or £3.16. What we do know is that on similar comparative to oz gold stocks the rating is circa 23.5p per share (argonaut research report and another one i have seen) OR £4.70 post consolidation or circa 9.70aud. So i do think we will see over the next 2-3 weeks a rise in the price on the ASX which will then be reflected on the AIM. The sooner the big boys and funds take control of the SP the better for longer term holders in my opinion as the PR machine will be in full swing in oz and they underpin the price each quarter end. Hence why the last week of June being a full year in oz we may see the price pushed to help overall fund prices! Just my thoughts and opinions but steady hand on the tiller to anyone worried and see where we are this time next week. My bet it will be north of $7aud.

Seems like we have alot of nervous investors over the 1p decreased in the last few days. Has the company changed, has the gold left the Patterson region, is the restructuring about to occur shortly and allow a larger swathe of investors to buy into GGP not going to happen. Nothing has changed and next weeks restructuring exercise is just that and once out of the way the only things that then matter are the Q2 results in July and highly likely resource upgrade results over the next few months leading into the Haverion PFS.

So for me nothing is changed and am holding until year end at least and will re-assess at that stage with my only caveat being watching the gold price and any fundamental correction that goes below $3000 an oz which at the moment looks unlikely with central bank buying but you never say never!

@Jester it is a cross listing of one company and all shares are available on both bourses! Computershare manages that for the share registry so in 4 or 5 months time aussie PIs, instos and super funds could own 50% of the shares.

Thanks Bamps - i agree on the resource upgrades. The one i would like to see is Telfer being upgraded. Interestingly in the Argonaut research note they have Telfer production out to 2030 but in public domain only aware of extension for 2 years! So would like to see the Telfer upgrade that we have a continuing mine regardless of Haverion to 2030 and beyond. Then as you say Haverion numbers will be continued to be upgraded alongside any drilling in other potential prospects. Not sure we will see the move up like many expect next week but i think the newsflow over the next 6 months to help drive a slow climb to mid 20s.

It is incredible that the mgmt do not think to issue an RNS stating what effects the conflict has currently had on GMS if any as the price fall started upon Israel starting things off

If the book build price was circa 16p and the asx value based on broker reports for similar good stocks on ASX is 23p am I missing something that the Oz institutions once this lists will push this price up to fair value on Oz market???

Can someone explain what the secondary offering is? i was always aware of the 50m of new shares but what is the 440m??

Antipa is an obvious opportunity as minyara is a 300maud development cost for a payback at gold price of 4000aud of 1.25 years without any other licenses benefit and 35km north of telfer. I do agree about keeping focus on haverion and telfer BUT my caveat would be is if the free cash flow continues into next year as gold price sustains an above 3000 an Oz then I am all for taking them over lock stock and barrell as minyara could be brought to production at same time as haverion.

Be interested whether Shaun and Roger he md of antipa know each other or not ?

The Feasabillity study later this year will look at that option i am sure as development of a haulage truck system for 45km vs onsite processing will be looked at especially if Telfer delivers an extension to mine life of 10+ years with further drilling this year!

Tymers - thanks for your response as was going to mention outside of using train which tends to be millions of tonnes over vast distances to port hedland (iron ore) and co it is most like using the current truck fleet they have will be the best option.

The one question though that i have not seen discussed and may have missed it is whether they have ever discussed the creation of a processing plant at Haverion to reduce ongoing opex spend but higher initial capex obviously? Just interested whether this has ever been discussed with Haverion considering it has a 20 year + mine life?
