Sageman the holy grail is the Telfer upgrade and even more elaboration on the current drilling results at Telfer that seem to have been warranted not that important in the quarterly presentation! I am hoping they have learnt that they can release some drilling results between quarterlies!!

We have gone above $3400 on a couple occasions this past couple of week but it never holds there. Lets hope it can hold and that GGP SP can get some momentum with the gold price which sadly has been lacking and not aligned the past few weeks. At least if we can get that will effect the shorters in this stock and help the short / medium term momentum.

I presume then half of that is operating profit based on a 2600 oz mid point AISC or 15-16m a week operating profit?

It does look like that. I cant work out if the 92.5% is correct as one of the top 20 would be supporting this at these lower levels and especially with gold price at 3380!

The elephant in the room is how much equity dilution and the cost of financing which is not in the financials for obvious reasons in the 20 year cashflow. Our market cap is circa $21m and free cashflows from year 2 onwards are $40m+ lets see when/whether they get funding by year end or not.

The madness of an economy looking for money and we have the potential to open up the north sea not only for energy security but 40 years too late adopt the norwegian model of utilising the monies made to create a future less reliant on looking under the sofa for a billion here or there!! The incompetence of the current and previous governments with regards to net zero is baffling.

Schlmiel but that is not happening as has been seen the past week. We are around the 3400 an oz the last week or circa 5200aud and the price has been going down!!! go figure!

Also quite unusual to see the top 20 holding 92.5% of all stock on offer. That really does surprise me!

No Badger i am just someone with a significant holding in GGP and unimpressed with the events of the last few weeks so am interested in other peoples views whether they be positive or negative but with justification around that view!

Fair comment Speedy and can see your reasoning based on the long term view to get to 9k an oz with inflation etc. If we were able to get to 9k without the complete capitulation of the US economy and USD then all for it but if those were to happen it would make the credit crunch look like a sunday walk!

Element - if we see gold at 9000 an oz then i would be more concerned about life in the western world for the average person as we would be talking great depression X 2 and a disaster for generations and a higher likelihood of war or in a global conflict in my opinion!

Hi Daffy - i would agree the question is whether the ASX 200 inclusion drives a variance wedge between the UK market and the ASX which has happened the last 2 days for the first time and September 5th to 19th is when we will know!

As far as Telfer upgrade and FS on Haverion yes, but they are November and Q1 2026 away so can see more drift unless other news is released out of the blue in early October with an ahead of 26FY forecast production for Q1 ! If the Q1 result is in any way negative then can see this slide alot more!

Hi all - anyone have thoughts on what the catalyst will be to return to £3.30 range as i just cant see where this can improve. The gold price is now better than before the quarterly announcement and today seems to be the first day we are starting to have a mismatch between UK and ASX price - i am fully aware the gold is still in the ground and we have 575m cash in the bank but the large instos that will drive this SP appreciation seem to be more interested in Fresnillo, Endeavour and Hocschild at the moment as they are all up over the past week where we are still battling to hold above water!

They have downgraded the head grades, decreased the ozs produced from 318 to 287 and increased the AISC from 2473 to 2614.
