Whilst our attention is correctly focussed on our current dilemma!

It’s worth noting that our now largest shareholding in Calidus, Alkane Resources (13%) is currently going through a “trading halt”!

Now, it could be a simple CR or a strategic acquisition!

They are currently into the Rare Earth space with USA and the Aussy government concerned by the dominance of China within these materials!

They also need to increase their Gold reserves as they are now going underground with lower grades!

I am not saying anything, but certainly worth a read up on the conversation!

it certainly wasn’t the company as that would have been easily added to previous correspondence to shareholders!

So I think we all deserve to be told how this timeline fits in with the policies of the LSE !

Surely our “Legal Team” have a duty of care!

To fully inform the company of any situation that could arise that affects the financial outcomes for the shareholders they are supposed to represent!

Would be interesting to get their view as to whether “they” knew this was a possible outcome?

“It has been possible to complete the Demerger sooner than expected, and the transfer of Calidus Shares to eligible shareholders is expected to take place by close of business in Australia on Monday 25 November 2019.
The registrars for Calidus, Automic Group, will send a security-holder reference number (SRN) py post to each transferee. The SRN should be quoted when trading in Calidus Shares. ( note the “py” which should be “by” post! )”

Now does this mean posting from Australia?

No I think if I read it correctly, it’s only a case of a single day during which the numbers and values change!

It looks like it all happens over the night of the 26th ready for trading on the 27th.

So fingers crossed that all parties get the correct information and is interpreted correctly!

From what we are being told....by the brokers.....to request a record date for the allocation is not the same as the share going XC under the scrutiny of the London Stock Exchange, who have to deal directly with the outcome!

If the LSE decide that the date has been set at the 21st ( which is what we are waiting to find out!) then all trades on the 20th count one way or the other!

We may not agree with it but if the shares were not shown to be XC on the 20th ( whoever decided not to mark them as such!) leaves the shares “open” to be traded!

The question we all need to be answered is....do the shares traded count towards the allocation date requested by the company or do we abide by the rules of the LSE!

It will end up with some loosing and others winning by default!

We await the call!

So as it stands today!

Hargreaves holders!

If you held Keras on Tuesday 19th - you get allocation!
If you continued to hold on Wednesday 20th - you get your allocation!
If during the 20th you bought more Keras - you will get the allocation of your original plus those added!

Now......if you sold any on the 20th - you loose the allocation to the value of those traded out shares!

I must admit I was very tempted to sell first thing when it had not dropped by the amount predicted.(with a view to trade back)!

Now we must await judgement day!

Fully understand your last point, as you say, so someone firstly would have to set the system up ready for the shares to go Recorded!
This must have been from an instruction “to” the LSE!

Once there and instructed, a date or time follows on from that instruction; now is it a given that the XC or XD is programmed as a fixed time/date after the instruction or was it a manual operation open to interpretation?

Does anyone know if there is a standard time frame for cases like this that we can use as a precedent ?

On Friday on the ASX our fellow holders increased trades to 105 which, looking back a few days was a significant increase on the norm!

However, the share price only moved by just .1 over the course of the day!
Volume was 4.9 m ( A$ 996 average trade value )

There was another 1.08 m at an average of A$ 1218 on the Chinese market!

I’m only tracking these for the next few days just to see what happens when the bonus shares are available for all to trade!

I’ll release more data, if there is any significant volume, directly to the board!

I can see where your coming from and I do not profess to understand this process, but if these brokers can allocate to our accounts, they are more than capable of removing the same !

We are also presuming that no Calidus shares have been traded away as we have been told its Monday 25th (so these shares over supplied, will just be sitting there on account, waiting for a confirmation notification!)

As Bassguy has put in a previous post!
