It’s going to be the question of short term gain against long term pain!

Lithium, agreed, is currently flavour of the month, but at some stage if used in the wrong scenario, parts of the Lithium systems come under strain and will need to be replaced.(not sure you’ll get 20 years plus at no additional costs)

Others, including RedT themselves, will be able to make suitable comparisons!

I’m also sure, when we get to providing a battery system that’s very close to a built up area, that the chances of a serious fire risk are greatly reduced using flow rather than lithium!

Still keeping my hopes up !

We did talk briefly, had the bright orange jacket sitting right behind you at the back!!

I think I heard from Russell that they were working on $4.00. -$4.5 per DMTU ( revenue)

For our costs he said:

$3.00. -$3.50 per DMTU

So using the higher of the figures with 38% purity for ease and taking Markyess figure of £1-£1.5 as profit my spreadsheet puts it at £1.7m!

That’s for 78,000 tonnes per year, £4.2 m for 188,000 tonnes per year!

I stand by to be corrected!!!!

So hopefully we will get more detail once we get started with the production!

Whilst already comfortable with both companies strategies last nights get together was more about confirming the full picture for the coming year!

It was difficult to hear some of the talk, due to an open room giving access to a very busy and very loud bar! ( not used to this here in the countryside of Norfolk!!!!)

However, Dave was clear that once the demerger and consolidation were completed will release the shackles for both shares!

Once November was out of the way ( including some bumps ) a clearer picture will emerge!

Although he didn’t follow the boards over in Aussy he was well aware, we here were trying our hardest to reassure those Calidus shareholders of our good intentions towards the share!

Also, after consolidation, Dave said many Institutions will be able to invest in Calidus as most will not even look at companies with more than 500 million shares within their portfolio!

All in all good to meet up with the team, although nothing new to set the world on fire!
