The only thing holding them back now is the land lease. Once they get that signed, they will be able to get financial closure and start work on building the smelter.

Also a long way to go before the SP gets back up to where it was. But with more news due later this year, hopefully it will get there.

I hope AVO doesn't waste valuable time and money trying to take Sinophi to court. If the order was terminated because AVO couldn't give a delivery date, which is what Sinophi claimed in their web site, then I can't see that AVO would stand much chance of winning. And anyway, if the machine is proved to work and turns out to be as good as AVO claim, then there should be a queue of potential customers waiting to buy the machines upon verification, so the loss of the Sinophi orders ought not to be of any consequence. IMHO they need to focus on the job in hand and forget Sinophi.

Cromer / Scantrader: Perhaps you ought to read the post below from 938MeV. You keep insisting that if the AVO system fails in its trials that it won't matter because there are other systems that can do the same job such as Mevion, Hitachi et al. I believe that this is not the case, and that the AVO system, providing it reaches completion, will use more advanced and safer technology and can be installed in places that none of the existing systems can be installed. It is important to get these facts right when posting on these boards to avoid misleading anyone.

steven: "Land lease agreements for the 15 MW smelter is due anytime now" I think it's been expected for over a year. It seems to me that this is the major hurdle at the moment, and if they can get this sorted quickly then everything else can move ahead.

I wonder if they will release the results of the trial before their presentation at San Francisco on 10th January?

Trouble is, there are so many shares like this on AIM, and unfortunately I seem to have most of them in my portfolio! I really must have a clear out but unfortunately that will mean having to take a huge hit.
