I've never known to stock market to be such a dangerous place for PIs. There's no such thing as a safe investment these days. Flybe is (or was) a good example - I lost my shirt with them, but at least that experience stopped me repeating the mistake with Thomas Cook.

There's plenty of regulation these days, but no policing. We'd all be better off buying lottery tickets every week.

Good to see that they are not wasting time and money organising an event in London. At least in Coleshill attendees can get there by car.

No expense has been spared either in producing an uncharacteristically austere Annual Report. I suspect this is the (positive) influence of the Microlise director (whose Annual Report is similarly unflashy) : why go to town (in more ways than one!) for what is now a virtually private company, with only I believe around 25% of the shares held by PIs, and with no need to attract outside funding at this time? Indeed, could this presage a takeover.....?

Last year, the AGM was held in London on 12/9/18 after notice was given on 20/8/18.

This year, we're still awaiting the notice, so the AGM won't be happening till at least the end of September. I imagine they want to delay it until there is something positive to say about connected car.

Basically, a great first half almost wiped out by a poor start to the second half, giving EPS of just 0.1p.

However, company is now back on track, and barring further "accidents", I would think there is every chance of EPS of 1p this year, in which case the SP could back to the mid teens by the end of the year assuming decent interims in November.

Spoke too soon, but the AGM RNS is completely silent on current trading. That in itself would cause (more) nervousness, but I think the pound dropping is the main factor over the last couple of days.

No news from the AGM. Strange. And the pound sinking isn't helping.

After House of Fraser, I don't think Mike Ashley is in the mood to splash out on anything else at the moment, unfortunately. And with HFD's AGM tomorrow, which should get the SP moving back up towards £3, he's probably missed the boat.

Meanwhile, a big director's buy has just come to the rescue.

Seems to be some nervousness ahead of the next trading update, due in a couple of weeks. Hopefully the update will confirm the steady recovery in profitability, and reverse the recent SP slide.

Averaged down yet again at 32p, for the last time...….enough is enough.

Now with an average of just under 60p, I think there's a good chance I'll get my money back in the next year or so.
