had a look on AgDevCo's website and no news regarding DKL as yet, I would be interested to see their viewpoint - obviously they see the investment as a good opportunity, and rather than the usual Broker rating publications which I think we all agree are somewhat biased, the viewpoint of a major investor who's ponying up cash is always valuable. I will be keeping an eye out to see if AgDevCo publish anything on DKL.

although probably the Guitry news we had hoped for regarding delays, does seem to show they are taking the RSPO accreditation seriously.

excellent commentary JK, I've been pursuing RSPO accreditation news directly from Lincoln, but the 2020 date is new news to me. Excellent we finally have an estimated date, and also some news on Guitry.

Record H1 and another shxt week for the SP. Consistent to a fault

Hi DB, i think there are a good handful of us planning to attend, although I haven't booked my train tickets yet. Regarding Guitry, I thought they had started the project a year or so ago, but it may be they have put it on the back burner in order to diversify and put the onus on Tiebissou instead (prob a good time to raise it as a question at the AGM?). If that is what they are doing i think that's a fair strategy given the low CPO prices and the fluctuations we've recently seen with the palm crops.

hey Rugs, yeah im pretty sure he was talking annual - sorry maybe I've got my wires crossed, were we talking Quarterly lol? I don't have the quarterly break downs - that 13,000 - 14,000 T FFB is annual.

Rugs did I forward on the Lincoln email regarding plantation numbers? If not, I'm happy to send that on if its of use. According to the numbers he has given me last year we had 13,000 - 14,000 T FFB from plantations, which I make worth somewhere near 3,000 T CPO (currently operating at about 50% of his expected mature rates). I think they have another couple of hundred Ha to plant yet too.

Totalnew I spoke to Lincoln directly on this a couple of months ago. He's said they are currently producing around 15,000T of FFB. He said they are expecting around 30,000 T at full maturity. I think the fertilizer programme should give the production growth a kick in the pants if they can get it working

"but I would like to see the company put at least two successful quarters together." to be fair FK in my opinion a record H1 does signify two decent quarters strung together - lets hope we get 3 decent quarters in a line next ;o)

Record H2 also, and yields are back to 22.5% ish. Only downer is CPO price, unfortunately that's somewhat out of our hands though I guess.

I make that an excellent set of Q2's! Record Q2, and also record % of Q1. I had the maximum expected down as 13,000 T so considerably beaten my expectations. Not had chance to view the results in detail yet regarding yields etc yet, but overall im pretty stoked.

thanks JK - the fertilizer programme sounds very promising, when Lincoln spoke to me about it, he said it was potentially going to be distributed via a group of processing companies i.e. DKL and a bunch of others down to the small holders on a loan basis. Would work out nicely if that's how it transpires.

hopefully the losses reported is the last of the bad news and its upwards from here...touch wood...fingers crossed

Yep we've discussed this many times JK I'd like to see a financial calendar too.... however a LOT of AIM companies forgo that burden, I think to buy themselves leeway on providing formals in case unforseen circumstances come up.
