PS Colin co my average was around 630p so you're probably slightly better off from the deal than me.... in essence at youre average you're swapping your gfrd shares for bovis... but also get to keep your ownership of the gfrd construction arm for free..... please feel free to correct me others

Oh yeah and swapping a potential 10% divi for a guaranteed 5.5%. At face value seems ok to me.

According to my very quick maths (I'm on holiday lol) at GFRD SP of my average, with 0.57 BOVIS shares in transaction that effectively values the construction side at 0p for my holdings... question then becomes whether i think that's realistic / optimistic / conservative

Think you'll probably turn a fast buck here, but things are very volatile at the mo so it's not a gimme short term.... long term you'll be fine IMO

do you think the Dabou nursery is to get going with plants that will eventually populate Guitry, and have semi mature plants by the time Guitry gets the go ahead? Or be a stand alone plantation nursery in its own right?...…. reading the RNS it seems DKL may not really know what direction they are going with it, but there are a number of options! I need to spend time going through the RNS in detail, so far I've just had cursory glances.

RNS looks positive - nil rent lol, wish I could find somewhere with nil rent!

Trying to fully understand the new nursery, obviously there are the saplings which are sold off to small holders, but will Dabou also act as a DKL plantation (as Guitry is intended to), or just a nursery to provide saplings? If plantation, I guess we will have a few years to wait before we see any meaningful fruits, but it should all add to the pot.

We say this every quarter.... but I really believe if this sees a respectable Q3, along with decent CPO price....AND upcoming cashew prods not too far away... surely this will start serious recovery

CPO prices at 12 month highs.

looks like the ask is now back at 2.8p, fingers crossed this gets back above 3p soon

all against a backdrop of rising CPO prices. Probably an effect of the dilution hangover IMO - not that it makes it any less painful.

looking at the charts, I "think" the REA CPO chart reflects DKL averages better. Welcome any other opinions / differing charts

not sure what is most relevant to DKL, but found another futures chart for CPO prices, this is showing 549 USD, so slightly above the REA CPO chart.

I wouldn't say that's a given - IMO Brexit will govern interest rates in the short / medium term. Deal = probably increase, no deal = probable status quo / drop.

? the drop is set by the value of the dividend - its 100% dropping by 14p in the morning regardless of what it does the avi. If we are lucky it will bounce off the drop.....but with the markets as they are im not counting on it.
