Hi I bought a bunch at 3.7 when Blackrock dumped and sold to free carry at the last run up at 4.5. Honestly, I can debate you with facts on the whole portfolio, not the skim job you do on one here or there. What Liberation Labs are doing is not ground breaking, Warren is building what he and others have built before, which is why I am confident that he can build and commission it. At 600k only high value add can cut it for both parties, which is why he now badged it up for others to use it as their bulk test pilot plant, which they can use at their loss. They really need the DOD scale up grant so they don’t have to recover those costs. Perfect day couldn’t get their very big Italian toll operation to be cash flow positive, so bought an Indian pharma and are scaling up there. Even with 70m USD free land, cheap feedstock, power and labour they can only just get there. Liberation Labs will struggle without the DOD free plant. Cauldron is the closest to L Labs and they are looking at a 200m grant and that will only work for value add too. Give me some facts rather than regurgitating pie in the sky rubbish fed by those not actually building anything.
Tropic and maybe Clean Foods and Formo are really the only ones that don’t need massive capital or a major JV like those with Ajinomoto or Danone to get it to work.
