I agree Demerli has huge potential. The plant was only 5 years old when production stopped with at least 20 years of production life remaining. 130m spent on the plant,but you would expect recommissioning costs still to be material given the impact and legacy of the fighting. It would have been pretty well mapped and JORC compliant to fund the plant you would have thought, no exploration risk at all. This opportunity alone would justify most of the current share price.

Maybe some time before anything is going to be realised so need to keep most of the cash for funding rounds. They don’t have a lot spare and the cost of debt is high. I notice almost all the VC funds I hold scaled back their buybacks, despite being cashed up.

reduke you are quite correct. i’m not expecting any reliable forecasts until the trials are completed with favourable results. before that, ******* into the wind imo. but given it looks like a couple of trials are eventually underway rather than just registered, i see it worth a punt at these prices and bottom drawer it. it is not like they need a cap raise for a couple of years. 4 more products to bolt on coming, so there will be at least some news flow.

Rob they won’t need a placement, they can top up a purchase with debt funding on the proven cash flow. Maybe some nominal dilution if it is a script for script at a premium.

My guess 500k on IP lawyers, 400k on 3 corporate communications firms, 400k on conference displays and attendance, 200k on listing and accounting, rest on salaries and rent. Some staff are shared with HVIVO. Yes a wasted year but not particularly greedy.

POLB trial would be loose change for Gilead, who sit on Hook’s board. I don’t take the termination of the bid as a secret thumbs up from Gilead, more that they don’t want to share what they think they might get out of Hook and value that more than the opportunity POLB represents. CF sees the risk, hence the still ongoing efforts to get someone else to pay what they could easily have covered a year ago.

Onego has taken an option on land in Wisconsin to build the US plant, but would probably need the DOD grant to make it happen. So I think the Finland scale up with the EU C Note will happen first. Don’t forget there is a ANIC holding in Every with GRAS I believe , so two open opportunities in eggs.
