Do not understand today's trading pattern at all. One large Sell sent us even further down, with only smaller buys in return. Cannot put a reason to it - no adverse news as far as I know, so something of a mystery?

Always large on here, until you put some dummy trades in for Buy/Sell and then it is down to 5%. Also, there are so few shares in general circulation that 100k trades can swing it either way. Think patience is a virtue here whilst all the practical moves are made and reported.

They are volatile at present, within a range of 205-220, but the fundamentals remain the same - and it does afford opportunities to top up on the dips if you are a conviction investor - so small tranche for me at 208!

What sort of quote olda? Or do you mean a Bid? Think your share price prediction is perfectly feasible - current price shows that this SP was not purely divi driven!

for me with 2.5k at 212p, which is a great price IMHO, and probably today's low. This is still proving to be in high and regular demand in spite of being ex-divi, with lots of PI type trades rolling in.

That was me at last sage! Finally got on at way over my original limit, but who cares? Blown away by the next trade which was for �18k at an even sharper rate. Must be whoyouknow in this game.

Wise words GG, as you said before - and we do make the mistake with a target share by setting a price in our heads which may be largely irrelevant in the long run. This is low volume mainly because you cannot get on as a PI for any substantial trades. Have now been refused 3 times for 10k, which is good news in a sense, so will have to lower the sights!

Another rarity - an MM doing as suggested, unfortunately!! Means I could not get on as now quoting 18.7 for 10k. Still looks good at the current price.

Just had the same experience! Gave up on my 17.5 limit trade- which looks unobtainable- and got no quote for a live 10k request. Calling 17.4 on the Bid, so why not move it up? This seems to be rumbling now.

Remarkably buoyant today just 2 days after ex-divi, touched 220p at one stage with great volume and two massive institutional Buys totalling �8.5 million. Gives a resounding vote of confidence in WJG long term, and only a few divi-tourists taking their 4.4p and selling at similar pre-divi rates. Topped up yesterday and very happy to have done so.

Pleased to see you are wising up as you get olda!! That can't be wrong IMHO - I also topped up around 210 before ex-divi, and pleased to see it hold as forecasted. Will now re-invest at around this level and hold for further news on projects and appointments etc.

Very fair comment graeme! We have closed before ex-divi on 218p Bid, with some lumpy late Buys ensuring nice divi for funds. Bodes well for a soft landing - and I agree with your analysis on future prospects right through to 2019.

Answer - no-one in their right mind graeme!............ Unless it is a distress sale or the seller considers that there will be a big post-divi correction. Personally, I think we will hold our price pretty well, and then go on a steady rise into the Spring. If there is an opportunity, I intend to re-invest my divi cash back into this share. Any further views to back up the IC report and recommendation?

for around 525k shares would put a different complex on today's picture, and think the slight drop is only temporary IMHO. We may hover around the 12p mark until news arrives, so patience definitely required.
