I can assure you that it is very positively a Buy - look at the price accepted against the market trading pattern! Also, at that level you might assume that they know what they are doing and are already invested here for dividend and regard the current price as a topping up opportunity. Very feasible, and a strong show of confidence in the direction this is heading.

Its a simple one - the drop is very close in percentage to the divi return, so no surprises there. Have topped up with 6k shares at 286p and very happy to do so, as I feel this will be back to pre-divi levels by Xmas and represents a good buying opportunity for believers.

There are no big sells, its just the MMs marking it down to suit their book. All those Buys around 310 before ex-divi can now be served by buying around 285, and the drop is justified as the share goes ex.

When the MMs serve a marked imbalance of bought shares and still hold down the SP - as recently with CARD - it usually means that they know they can backfill all those orders at a lesser price to themselves. So we must expect a mark down when this goes ex-divi, but by how much? I share Drunk's confidence that this will then recover to 300+ in the run-up to Xmas.

Also dubzy, there will be a final divi of around 6p next May, which amounts to a return of about 8% over a 6 month period. So what's not to like in a solid and cash generating company? And like yourself I cannot get too worried about a post divi drop on Friday.

I am afraid that you have fallen back on vitriole and name-calling like so many of your obnoxious predecessors on this board - it is even more aggravating than losing a substantial sum through a forced sale here earlier this year, and like all the other knockers, you constantly accentuate the negative and ignore the positive. You have entirely bypassed the obvious reasons for the disappointments with this project from early production days - a combination of sinking tungsten prices and thoroughly unreliable chinese-sourced processing equipment. I have done the tour, met the staff, inspected every aspect - a better qualification for assessment than spouting accountant-speak on a screen in my view. Russel Clark was a highly qualified manager who put in an honest shift, but was undone and disillusioned by the aforementioned factors. I genuinely hope that the optimism presented by the current team is not purely, as you cynically suggest, to perpetuate their own employment, and I say this on behalf of genuine investors here who have shown remarkable patience and belief in the project.
