The spread on here is pretty daunting for traders, must be a result for such a limited number in float. I go exactly with that view bandit, and did the same during the sharp drop today. Just for the record, the stats on this board are wildly inaccurate - we closed on 183.6 to Sell, and the volume of shares bought was in excess of 600k! As just two of these were large institutional trades, we still enjoy the confidence of the City behemoths, which is quite soothing in these strange times. Interesting week ahead, and an AGM next Tuesday.

So tried for some discount in a crazy market, but could not get below 16.85 as a reflection of an unreasonable spread of nearly 14% at present. The MMs just love this volatility - but in my view, only lemmings are exiting this share right now.

The LSE board has failed to record two giant institutional-type Buys of a total �1m+ on HL, which is poor and misleading. This, however, has not halted the slide, and we dropped like a stone just after 1pm. I feel that has to be a UT trade of some size that we may see after the Bell. Its a global sell-off from some inflated highs across all markets, but why this company with its ultra-sound fundamentals is being especially targeted is beyond my comprehension.

This has held up pretty well against all the slaughter elsewhere - shows some like you guys are still value hawks. MMs carnival with huge spreads and lots of volatility. They are even prepared to hold Sells for a mark up later in the week!

rhyme or reason in today's drop, except that 2 lumpy sells did the damage mid-day against a raft of smaller Buys. Red all over the screens though, and the MMs sometimes drop the SP in an attempt to generate some volume. We may be proactive in generating some volume of our own with the next RNS?

You were right with your warning about red screens today - AIM down overall by over 2%. However, we recovered well here after a severe early drop, and I will settle for the closing price following two bad days as it offered some opportunity for top-ups for those prepared to swim against the tide! Might be an interesting week to follow.

Bandit's reading of today's action looks spot on to me - MMs dropping the SP sharply to promote some volume. You need to be a believer rather than a lemming in these circumstances, and I was pleased to take a profit elsewhere and go for a second top up here at 197p. Roller Coaster here at present, but quite enjoying the ride!

Thank you bandit, I see it the same way, and fully prepared to tough it out until this returns to some semblance of normality. In fact have just indulged in a minor top-up at 196p, which I never dreamed of getting! As you say, fundamentals here are unchanged, plus a great order book, and cash in hand.

stuff on here this morning, with a raft of Sells taking us down almost 12% at one stage, and still inexplicable! Looks like an infection causing minor panic with over �50m wiped off the company's value in a day and a bit. I am certainly holding and wish there were funds to top up at these prices.

Hope that's not right olda - otherwise we are all in the cakka across the board. A stronger pound does not help either, and all the uncertainty with Brexit constantly whipped up by the media.

Fugro - no idea what they do? Looked them up and there were some monster trades on Friday, starting with �647k reported as a Sell!! Then after the bell, a Buy/Sell for exactly the same number within 2 minutes! Not a single post recorded on their LSE board, so the plot thickens!
