Still very happy with the average over 3 trades, and very impressed with the ongoing vigilance of GGiS and other qualified posters on this board. this morning, and doing discounts to regular customers, so got 7500 at 15.6p which I call a real bargain! GLA.

sign went up at 1430 today on this share, and that last trade was mine. Refused any sort of quote for a modest 7500 top-up after on 4 occasions by HL - so why on earth not raise the spread MMs?? Limited number of shares in circulation - so I would have said this was not rocket science! Another mystery for poor PIs to solve.

Much more lively trading day with narrow spread for a change, so guessing that the penny may be slowly dropping on the market. Going for another top-up before the bell as I feel that this may start to move later in the week IMHO.

got in for 9k at 15.70 and think this is a great level to show some faith with all the current news. The earlier trade at the same price is showing a Sell, but spread lends the lie as this is obviously a Buy too.

Easy to snipe from the sidelines when things go down, but I can't see too much wrong with MWJ's retirement announcement. He was in a personal situation, and keeping quiet about his intentions would have been worse. Think olda might have a point about the general trend of the market, and it claims good well-run companies as well as duff ones!

Many thanks for your positive post and all the back-up details. This drop is all the more puzzling and unwarranted in the face of company performance and prospects. I for one am holding every one of my shares, and considering another top-up at the current rates. All builders are out of favour at present, but this correction is severely overdone IMHO.

Think the row with Russia looks set to run and run, and we are in the right territory in both the geographical and political sense to get some benefit from it, especially if the Russkies put a brake on gas exports. Combined with a potential price rise and a sort out on the pipe, this could be very interesting in the run-up to Q4.

There is no way this SP should be drifting IMHO. The market often gets it wrong, and the fundamentals combined with future confirmed projects are very strong factors. MWJ's planned retirement was announced a long time ago, and we were given very clear reasons for his actions and for the one-trade sale of 50% of his shareholding. Companies of this strength can readily absorb changes in top personnel, and the style and traditions of a very successful outfit will stay intact once a successor is appointed and announced. This happens all the time with FTSE companies without a quiver to the SP, and I am very confident that the Coventry project will become another substantial step in the right direction for this very progressive outfit. Also, when announced, the interim dividend for this June will be an interesting benchmark for PIs. I am genuinely surprised at the current SP, and regard it as a definite buying opportunity once funds become available. GLA investors here!

Just as confused as you APA, and cannot see any earthly reason for today's drop. Only positive news with this company and must assume that it is a blip on the screen. Note lots of Buys recorded after the bell, which is no surprise at these prices.

You are right Schlumberdown, anything over 15.5p was a Buy, and I am constantly being refused the middle price for a 40k Buy. So Craig - how about a direct deal at your best price, and we can cut out this sleepy middle-man??

of trading today, but I am annoyed with HL for not fulfilling a request trade for 40k @ 15.75 when there were two bigger trades recorded at slightly less. This is the second time this week, and the excuses are feeble. Would some of today's Sells be contractors taking their fees?

totally accounted for in today's RNS, and the reasons given for MWJ's divorce settlement. Also explains the earlier announcement of his retirement intentions - but he still retains half of his original holding, and certainly quite transparent in every way. The SP held up well in spite of this high volume sell, and recovered well by the end of trading. Investors will all wish him well, and appreciate his long-term committment to the company.

just before the close on Friday trading were accounted for by a �177k institutional-type buy declared after the bell as a UT. WJG wanted at all levels by PIs and Institutions, so expect a steady rise towards 210p this week in spite of the main market falling and out of favour with all the current uncertainty.
