Very committed here however, and will not bother if we see some profit taking and consolidation after a very positive week. We have a few captains on here already Hindsight, but you got the best possible advice from an LT champion GGIS - and a priceless bottom line of being fully funded by a powerful financial giant to take us to the delivery of first gas in mid 2021. If you do come on board, bring your mate Foresight with you!

of 14.89/15p is the narrowest for yonks after that absurd set of 2p for most of last week. Has been our liveliest 2 days of trading for some time - so could there be a lesson to be learned MMs on the way to encourage some some action?? Good point gold - fortune favours the brave and the well informed!

butd has summed it up, and I would add my point of yesterday - that a wider field of investor interest, mainly PIs of course trading at market rates (not those favoured UTs) is sending this on at last and will hopefully continue whilst IOG remains way below a realistic market value. The recent RNS detailing real working progress out on the rigs and wells was another helpful factor, so keep that up BOD and we will do our bit out on the trading floor. Still one for the top or bottom drawer, and not for day-trading so I topped up a modest 10k today and will continue to do so with respect to available funds. GL all believers!

all the while with 13.11 Bid and 14p to Buy right now. We can call this a good day as realisation of potential and the solidly advancing programme here is beginning to take hold with a wider band of investors.

Nice one butd, and looks like you've moved us on a notch. Strong little run of Buys takes us to a 12.15/12.40 split. MMs want your shares but they are not having one of mine. Got in for a modest 10k at 12.15 for late top-up yesterday, and we could be saying goodbye to the 12p levels in the foreseeable. Hard to be accurate answering duster, but will be 2022 before real profit is declared.

Green - I am sure that your strategy is right, but the absurd spread is a massive off-put at present. I am waiting in the wings for a top-up, but refuse to trade whilst they hold this unrealistic gap.

You should know by now Gold that this site is terminally inaccurate with aggregates, prices, percentages and a number of other things for good measure. Whilst they hold this ridiculous 2p spread on a basically penny share, real time interpretation is down to your own research - which I do constantly by applying with dummies, and occasionally posting on the board purely for the information of other fellow investors. For the record the real spread is currently 11.80/12.75.

Good trading Gold, with hopping around fine when your timing is right. I am focussed purely on IOG and averaging down at these levels when funds allow. Just for the record, the actual spread is now 11.96/12.75 which is still too wide, but a few sells might make the Buy level attractive again. Short of a seismic event, I cannot see the offer lowering to sub-12p in the foreseeable. All IMHO.

If that is your 40k top-up Gold, I am very pleased for you at a great price. But you will need to explain the "CEY top slice" and free shares. Is that some form of Chocolate Cake, and where can I apply for my share?...........Meanwhile, all I can see is a truly preposterous spread of 11p/13p on this share, which amounts to a cool 16% approx! Suspending reality seems to be in vogue at present.

trellis - agree with all you say and some timely reminders of why we are in here for the long term, with some game-changing milestones along the way. Just staggered at the way MMs present the spread and how brokers are able to leg over small sellers at a low price that was never actually reached. The late 90k Buy confirms the view that this volatility in SP presents a buying opportunity for equally patient investors. On the hostile bids point, I have no qualms at all that CalE, backed by BH would deal with that eventuality very swiftly and decisively. Always good to read well considered views from fellow LTHs and many thanks for your contribution(s)!

Like you gator, I am finding this share the hardest one to read of all my investments over a long period. The spread is quite ridiculous, and the drop today totally unwarranted. Nothing but good news emanating from reliable sources,and a balance of Buys above Sells on this week's trading record so far, with admittedly no volume. I am staggered if anyone is able to buy under the 12p marker - and well intentioned as they are, I find explanations for the drop to carry no really logical weight. Too far in to give up now, so we will tough it out in the forlorn hope that sanity will one day return to this small corner of the market. Investor on the peak of exasperation!

If you are trying to talk the SP down munch good luck with that one! We know an awful lot more about the backstory here and won't give a stuff about a smartened-up website and our "one single asset". Still, you got a laugh, and i think I heard a distinct chuckle from the direction of Omaha.

More excellent news, and keeping the market informed is an essential requirement as this company is now on the move with working preparations well underweigh towards next year's target for gas production. For LTHs this has been a marathon, not a sprint, and with so much water now under the bridge, waiting another year or so will not test our already proven patience. The market will wake up one day, and meantime I for one will take every opportunity to reduce the average when funds become available. GLA!

Would have thought that IOG's main interest would centre on the Southern North Sea with easy availability of a link to the Thames Pipeline and Bacton. Also depends of course on the estimated sizes of resource? Well done to those who bought today at 12.50 and would have joined you with funds available. As we remain largely unloved by the market there will be opportunities until the penny really drops.
