Thanks for the link Jam - excellent interview with a very full outlining of all the elements that are coming together for Phase 1 of the project, how the work team are coping with covid restrictions, and a forward look at the prospects for Phase 2. Answers with far greater clarity the questions posed on this board, as you would expect from the CEO. The market is what it is - but far better PR at present will eventually help it to wake up, mms permitting.

That is interesting stu, and gives you an edge on the technical side. Any further information on how the drilling process works on to extraction of gas to pipeline would make fascinating reading.

Very positive update issued today on the contracting of a reliable Rig drilling team for 3 of their wells beginning Q1 2021 and original timelines for the project confirmed - which is to be congratulated in these difficult environments for work teams. Would love to see similar practical progress being made here as a shareholder - but all we seem to get is skirmishing for portions of the equity.

and ye shall receive! Great RNS issued today with news of the contracting of the Noble Hans Deul Rig to drill Blythe, Elgood, and 3 more at Southwark Wells plus 2 further wells to be selected by IOG. Reporting that the Hans Deul Rig has an excellent track record of success and safety. Work begins Q1 2021 through till Q2 2022 with First Gas still scheduled for Q3 2021.
AH comments that this confirms the original timelines on the core project and reflects good ongoing co-operation between drilling and contracting teams, with first spudding due in Q1 2021.

of the widespread negativity of the general market - providing you do not need short term cash - we are becoming something of a safe haven for small investors in these turbulent times, with top of the spread being paid for small tranches. Just the right time for some work progress reports to endorse confidence. Are you listening BOD??

If there is Trust it will probably be stipulated at bottom bid 11.75 - so won't make a lot of difference to the Buy price, which is all we are interested in?

gator - totally agree with your points about work in progress updates, and the importance of them. I have been banging on about this one on repeated occasions - not always with any response. A PR career background tells me the importance of when to say something and when to stay stumm - and there is a great story to be told here, so lets hear it! Yesterday's misread trades continues today, with 80k down as Sells when they are quite definitely Buys as one of them is mine!

gator - explained that in my last post. Board misreads trades with a changing spread, so try to interpret the correct pattern for all investors! ............especially LTHs!

Had to reach for the bottom of the piggy at these rates, and comforting to see that I was not alone. Mine was a very modest late top-up, but there were statements of defiance in greater numbers - with trades misread by this board owing to the strange spread. True figures from the LSE records amounted to 115k Buys against 102k Sells, so some encouragement there against the main market malaise.

I was wrong when I posted that we would not see this level to Buy again - but these are unprecedented times, and whatever your views may be on the viability of this share, it takes intestinal fortitude and available funds to take advantage. Having invested at higher levels, there is no problem with the former - but very little of the latter unfortunately!

Who knows Trust? Just sure that we are not catching a falling knife here - its the state of play in the market with everyone panicking about another lockdown and an extended second wave. Don't like the sneaky UT trades when we PIs declare our hand with every move. Just keep the faith and reduce your averages when the price looks right. We may be swimming against the tide right now, but we will be closer to the shore when it turns! GLA

This is one of a few companies that remain unaffected by the risk of the second lockdown which is spooking the main markets. As such I am pretty staggered that there has not been more boot-filling at these bargain rates, so another small top-up in keeping with modest available funds has been the order of the day for myself. Would like to hear how progress is going in the SNS with the added hazard of restricted working practices?

Black - you are asking the same question that we LTHs have been posing for some time, and taking all elements into account, we are sitting at the very least one-third of SP value that should be the case at this stage of the SNS project. There is of course the LOG encashment factor to be considered down the road, also the completion of the detailed work programme without hiccups - but these are acceptable scenarios in terms of investment in a well managed and fully funded operation. I echo my fellow posters' views on manipulation by MMs here - also the investment opportunity presented by their persistent suppression of the SP. Must add in the lack of appetite in the lower markets for any form of "risk" investment in the current environment - and the hope that our timing for taking the wraps off this project in late 2021 will co-incide with a more optimistic mindset in the market. Meanwhile BOD - surely time for another update on work progress out in the SNS??

No rhyme or reason to this one, and some posters still insisting that there is no manipulation with this share? If the narrow spread is maintained, surely a Buying opportunity for those with funds?

Not everybody's favourite I know, but you have to respect his long-founded knowledge of the O & G industry. He says quite clearly that he loves the assets here, but refusing to countenance or deal with "Offers" does this management no favours when finance and commitment to extraction of resources is required to make strides.

....so we do a bit of business. Simple lesson learned we hope!

A very detailed post mole, and a well argued case for the ultimately limited effect of the LOG factor on the advancement of this company towards a cleaner profile of shareholding and the balance between PIs and IIs. Digesting all the financial signposts - and as we are now in Q4 of the year preceding first gas, I would expect to see some upwards movement in line with your NPV calculations in the not so distant? Gator has suggested something like 20p before year end, and if this drowsy market perks up at all, I would not make that an unreasonable forecast.
