Bid has moved as expected, but with so little downside on this share, it is very tempting to go again with the Ask still at 16.05 ?

First day of the month, and have a feeling that we are about to move up on the Bid, so had to have a little 10.7k top up at 16.05. Narrow trading spread at present, and some positive signs of all-round activity for O & G in the southern North Sea.

Whilst share incentives against sacrifice of salary seemed a fair proposal in the darker days, we now have a set of very soft targets for the attainment of most generous bonus payments that are more an echo of the old Bankers arrangements. Whilst AH confidently predicted the meeting of key working and production targets in his latest presentation - why are the rewards so overly generous for just doing - as one poster put it - your job? Not happy with this scheme, and no wonder the SP is stalling yet again.

Narrower spread now of 15.66/16 makes for better trading either way - but very slim volume again.

Fully agree GIGS - excellent layout with very clear-cut display of the operational story and the delivery plan from wells to pipeline. Clear timelines listed plus a very convincing investment case for newcomers to the company. Big tick for the Bod on this one, and a very useful innovation.

You are not alone Trust! I went for the icing at 16.45 and a bit taken aback at the current dip. All will come around once the reality of the value here reaches a more general swathe of investors IMHO.

Always tricky to read the nature of trades with such an exaggerated spread, but 15.55/16.25 looks a bit more realistic. Good volume, but the preponderance of Sells is something of a surprise to me at any rate.

I guess everything has a price and it seems like AH is just trailing his cloak to encourage any bidders who fancy their chances?

Well spotted GGiS, and welcome back! Gas prices another good sign at present not only for profitability after first gas, but also for market sentiment. The RNS sparked off a very strong trading week, and whilst today is quieter, we have now established a new platform level for imminent surges on increasing Buy volumes. GLA.

Endorse that duster, spread was 15.50/16.00 at time of trade. Managed to get 20k at 15.675 and will continue upwards as and when funds allow. We are getting to a wider audience now, and today's RNS confirms real progress and a confident roll-out to first gas.

I rather hope he does, although he will need to find north of £180m to do it - and then find that the backing team here will be blocking any such moves. But some nice profits in KIST have helped boost my volume here, and he certainly has the touch beloved of city traders.

Yes Gold - exactly what we have been asking for. A regular update on work in progress and a great start to the new year with a whole raft of positives in this RNS. The pipeline and Bacton well maintained with a busy programme scheduled for Q2 and beyond, and the drilling of Blythe/Elgood suggesting that these wells will be the first to deliver product around Q3. I particularly like the market-pleasing reference to "low carbon intensity gas producer" whilst the recovery of gas prices to around 55p per therm is a nice piece of serendipity at this stage. Unusually in the world of developing O & G minors, this company are sticking faithfully to their forecasted timelines - so well done the Board, and pick well for the incoming COO!

Just follow the advice I have given - telephone trades are best for larger tranches when liquidity is tight, although the quotes are unlikely to be generous!
Very lively today to end an interesting week on here. Some heavier profit taking at the close, but over 30 trades with true figures stacking up to 355k Sells against 384k Buys. We now reside at a new level, and I expect to see buying continue apace next week. GLA

Try Kill or Fill boys - just topped up 5000 @ 14.9 on HL for a manual trade. This level won't last the day IMHO - and the 100k Sell was a mistake and cancelled. Onwards and Upwards!

denis - thought that trade was a Buy, as I tried a dummy at the same time for a smaller sum to get the same quote. We are up around 12% since Xmas Eve when I bought my last tranche at 12.8p. Well done - I cannot see much downside here now and this important year for IOG has begun very promisingly. GLA!

Would have thought volume to be higher if they are being exercised? However, lively last half day of the year with true figures of over 540k Buys to take us into more positive territory for the start of an interesting New Year for this company. HPNY to all!
