Busy trading day with 33 trades and total of 1.43m shares traded. A moving spread makes the Buy/Sell ratios difficult to assess, but we are up 0.50p so an obvious preponderance of Buys sees us getting on more radar screens.

Looks like our old friends Lombard have transferred or encashed a large one on Friday, notifying today. Will ask our financial whizz butd to translate this one for us?

duster - getting a bit weary of the p-poor arithmetic on here. Actuals again for today are 18 Buy trades totalling 99.64k and 2 Sells total 46k. Final Buy price was 17.30 - and if we move on this lot will never catch up!

edgar - thanks for very informative post. What are the infrastucture requirements to actually produce hydrogen at Bacton. I assume then that it will be combined by process with natural gas to produce a product that offers reduced carbon emissions for a transitional period before renewable energies click in? If so, this will signpost greater longevity for IOG as a viable energy producer, and also please the green lobby of investors?

Just for the record - to be accurate there were 405k Buys today, and 110k Sells - confirmed! A narrow spread seems to completely throw the arithmetic on this LSE site - but it beats me how the MMs can hold the Bid in the face of these figures. If you are a confirmed believer with funds - happy days!!

Questions to the Engineering Division! How do they attach the rig, once in place to the well beneath ? - and how is all this once complete connected to the pipeline for the extraction of gas? Also the timescale for these operations? Will more than one well be operational at the same time once we get to first gas? Big thanks for your expertise in these matters!

The market is generally very slow to react to good news with this company as we progress towards first gas - but you may well be right about the drilling activity at Elgood beginning to release the valve. Also pleased to see a consistent supply of newsflow and a very positive feel that gives to LTHs and new investors. GLA

That looks pricey to me as well, considering the modest proven resources of the Tulip fields. Market reaction, after all the hype about AA, is muted to say the least.
