Damion, a little naughty as we know like statistics, video clips can give a completely different view point in isolation.

Dare I say (as per the monotone questioner in the video, which was Moi) John Reader emphasised that the real value came with Phase 1b and that was the target and I'm sure that was recorded as well as the question of translation came up - in the words of Michael McIntyre "Send to All"

And yes a lot has changed in the last 15 months, we have completed SAD, Food and continuing MAD in Phase1a awaiting analysis of data!

As an aside, I will put on record post AGM, I was privy to a conversation of John Reader and our own RMM, where JR vented to the frustrations of MHRA and the intention to get into trials whether in this country and/or elsewhere with the aim of Phase 1b, in fact, the RNS regarding the RF deal alludes to such aim.

I get we are all frustrated, none more so than me, but, we need facts and not people playing with whims - the last 24 hours have shown me the people I trust.

Just to note, as an attendee at the AGM I think the demeanour of the BoD was down to the opening statement and proposals therein by Mr. Johnnie Smith who had flown in from Spain, that along with fact that SRA737 as a deal was in the latter stages of conclusion (given Festive Break) and they could not say anything.

Moving to where we are today there is a lot that needs clarifying in terms of events, actions and proposals and I trust as I have repeatedly asked, that the BoD THROUGH THE CEO comes clean and not "Didn't think we needed to say anything".

That in itself will explain the situation we are in and why, thus allowing the market to determine our potential going forward, rather than unnecessary arguing over assumptions rather than facts - for example "....has taken steps to preserve its immediate capital utilisation." - what steps, I believe I know but it is only an assumption - TM could make it a fact and if as my assumption would clear a lot of angst on this bb perhaps - transparency to the Shareholder, I believe as quoted at the AGM.

I trust the NED has not fallen into a comatose state and as per the role is looking after Shareholders interest including the approaches by others waving "gifts".

So if an offer is made then that would fall in line with the proposal Johnnie made in his statement at the AGM mentioned above as surely it would need to be declared, that would hopefully attract bids by others and then subsequently voted on by us Shareholders!

For the record, as stated in my proposal at this stage I'm not looking for any changes - just the transparency I keep hearing at AGM's will actually happen so we know what actually is going on.

Thanks for all the responses and other threads from my posting last night - what it does show is the strong collective of shareholders we have on this bb and those who attend the AGM and cannot/do not write on this bb.

I think it is fair to say the BoD are aware of the feelings and the IR responses to Big Timer & Mafuta imo confirm that.

@Andy thanks for your post, I was hoping you would step up with a point of view and yes do remember potential call for EGM.

@ David7015 a sound proposal and to all others thanks for responses.

To me there is a timeline from today to the publication of interim results w/c 25th March where you would expect some detailed update and proposals/resolution and the pathway forward.

As I said in my previous post responding to potnak, I just want the BoD to do their job in a diligent and competent manner and will sit out the timeline above - also by way of a reminder Dr. Owen as NED should be ensuring that the BoD are acting in the best interests of the Shareholders.

I'm off out now for lunch with the Missus, hopefully, I'ill come back to some positive vibes!

What I said at the outset Potnak, the mind set of RF to drive a Company into oblivion doesn't imo stack up as a business proposition if all they're left with are a load of worthless shares - not sure their demise if they do destroy Sareum can be deemed a "silver lining".

Yes agree, leave the BoD to do their job, my understanding of that being to create Shareholder value through progression of drug development in a diligent manner, precise and transparent communique to the markets and competency in the financial administration of the Company - just hope we don't have to leave it too long for that to be achieved!

Thanks Jinky and Rayboy - the RNS issued yesterday I don't believe is what Sareum are about, yes the finances are grave but I don't think unsolvable.

A simple consortium of pi's pledges between £300k or £2m as a group and becomes a voice within the current status quo, together, the "dream" continues for all!

To make it clear, I'm not looking for any BoD change in my proposal.

Obviously. lots of ifs and buts and for those that £1000 is too much team up and buy a collective "£1000" option.

Plenty of i's and t's to cross, but just imagine walking into Peel Hunt at 100 Broadgate and saying we would like to have a chat!

With the numbers being talked on here, how many people would be prepared to commit multiples of £1000 funding for the sole use of pursuing SDC-1801 ( How it's regulated etc.. I will leave to the experts) - 300 nominees raises the immediate Phase 1a completion funding - 2000 nominees gets Phase 1B funded with no RF and/or other "Sharkmeister" and if successful a completely new ball regarding sp.

In return BoD defer salary increases for the year and a share option is given to each £1000 nominee payment similar fashion to the HNWI agreements - and a pi shareholder representative (non voting) sits on the BoD.

I'm sure I will be shot down in flames, but, I thought I'd put it out there, in business which let's face is where we are, it's about how you resolve not wallow on what you can't change.

@ Snoop and Potnak, obviously Primary Bid is a route as is Retail Book ( Rex Platform) but as you state there is an "overhead fees" situation!

HBD, I was really disappointed with how today's RNS was presented, not sure who composes, provides content and/or confirms wording given the make up of Sareum and BoD, NED's, Brokers etc... but, hope we can improve.

Re reading the RNS, I think the detail will be in the interim results and any news on further funding which suggests a move away from RF, which in itself would be a blessing in my opinion.

Not a lot we can do, as you say it's been a long journey to get into Clinical trials and we are nearly at the next level, yes there's been set backs - but we cant change that, let's get there!!

@ David7015, I think the abrupt time limit imposed on the length of the AGM meant RF conveniently didn't get discussed!

Others have raised so interesting view points, personally, I would like to see a further statement from the BoD - STATING A CLEARER PICTURE OF WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON, WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND HOW THEY INTEND RAISE FINANCE AND PROGRESS SAREUM.

As a shareholder of 14 years and an attendee of 5 AGM's, I will still hold but have to say to the BoD I'm not best pleased with the flippancy of today's RNS to both Shareholders and the market.

Appreciate all the details of the deal, which as we all know has been truly dissected on this bb and totally agree in what you have stated below - but, I look at betterment and actually wonder whether RF in supporting Sareum rather than using their "standard business model" could possibly have made a more substantial return - only a thought and put to bed as this not the RF bb.

Returning to Sareum, is there betterment in potential funding arrangements as we are certainly in a better position with SDC-1801 and SRA737 than we were when the RF decision was announced on 4th August last year, like RF cash balance, who knows?

I'm not so sure that was a sell looking at the sp either side of the timed transaction - also, 5-10% on a £2m share loan against warrants at £1.47 or a share that could quite easily rise, have RF got the cash balance for the 3rd and 4th deposits given their current trading status - only an opinion, but lots in the mixer I feel!

HBD all good thanks, likewise yourself I trust - yes I'm intrigued by RF's strategy as ultimately to make serious money they need Sareum aka sp to be high, otherwise, decimate the sp and you just either sit on a lot of cheap shares and never cover anymore than your loan value and/or have the loan repaid!

There is no doubt the BoD's next RNS is crucial and needs to be delivered with concise and clear intent of Sareum's pathway and progression as a Company over the next 12 month's - here's hoping they do and start to recover their true potential both in the clinic and the market places!

Hi HBD as I have said previously the RF funding agreement doesn't have to be fulfilled and can be terminated by settlement of the amount borrowed, we now have "meat on the bone" - who knows if that opens doors to different funding, licensing, investment, whatever think back to the time the HNWI's we're in a better position with development now, who knows? - some questioned have RF played a blinder, lets see, they could end up with very few shares if they are dumping shares and the "bridging loan" repaid!!

Ultimately, it's a waiting game on news, I have my quota of shares and don't need to add but can see why people would want to buy at these prices - as they say DYOR,
