Hi Aber, no argument we've read each others posts here for a long time, all I would say is ultimately all BoD decisions are a collective vote not the action of a single member.

Now we have progressed in Phase1a, I'm taking a philosophical view that if they achieve 1b, have the RF/alternative funding in a better place the sp should re rate - get to PH forecast of £3 plus maybe £4 most on this bb (appreciate a small number may not) would have made money and/or a least recovered stake - as an armchair poster (after all that's all we are) I'ill be more than happy with my return! - admittedly, it was between 12p and 16p old money but as per my moniker, getting on a bit this year and above would be very nice after getting my original stake out in 2021.

Agree some pi's may have decided to get out, but, I think you would agree they wouldn't have done so before any selling down by RF going back as far as last August.

Anyway, time for a walk, hopefully, today's momentum continues and sticks which is of more concern to me!

If as you say they haven't sold a single share, the gap is closing this morning on the dilution - long may it continue!

RF selling down might not be their best option, now we have progressed in Phase1a as I've I mentioned previously gives an opportunity for alternative funding - the terms of the RF facility says it is terminated on repayment of such - do that and RF has "bridged" us to get where we are today and they are left with whatever shares they haven't sold.

As I said we do have "meat on the bones" now which hopefully will allow for a more beneficial funding arrangement akin to the Sareum business model.

This is RF driven, they will need to be careful as if they enforce bankruptcy, they will not recover their loan and be left with a batch of worthless shares, same as SP and us - TM and JR will go with the science, that's my worry and should be the BoD's if RF are trigger happy!

More likely, MM manipulation and dare say concerned pi's saying enough is enough.

I disagreed with Mr Smith opening statement at the AGM about putting Sareum up for sale now we are progressing through 1a at £3.50 and start a bidding war, if equity cant be raised to walk away from RF, I have to concede that may be our only option.

Perhaps a statement from the board today, clarifying the RF situation and how they see us progressing over the next 6 months into Phase1b is needed, after all, good management is standing up, communicating and being counted in bad times as well as good.

Fanti, presuming you are addressing me, firstly, you're not bothering me, it's an open bb!

Regarding your query, yes I did run a business (I'm now retired) and as it is still a successful concern, assume (rightly or wrongly) I knew something about what I was doing.

As for "mobilising" it's success, appreciate buzz words are the norm these days but I'm not sure we used texts as you suggest to generate potential interest!

The purpose of my posting was not about above, it was to highlight the RNS landmark of Sareum reaching a milestone point as a drug development company and you and another poster discussing the relevance of them announcing such - personally, I found that baffling as it was purely telling one and all where they were in such development, given the criticism of lack of communication by this bb.

The bb screams for better communications, the BoD releases a RNS stating we have completed 2 of the 3 "physical aspects" of a Phase1a clinical trial of our own compound for the first time and some start debating the reasoning the BoD released it - as you said HBD, every day's a school day!!

After what was great news this morning regarding completion of the SAD and Food parts of the Phase 1a clinical trail in Oz.

Yes we know the RF finance has strangled us, but why this option? What happened to make this the "best" option?

It's not mentioned on the bb much but it was estimated that £1.7m was "lost" due to the MHRA postponement/setting up in Oz and if memory serves me right associated tax credits would have been allowed - so perhaps in a bit of a pickle, that needed instant rectification to get Oz up and running!

I'm not going to go over what they could/should/haven't done, simply cause it's not going to change, however, to use my earlier term there is "meat on the bone" and now is the time for SP to show his full worth, which I believe he will whether that is by refinancing or licensing out, after all, I believe 1802 could also possibly have it's door opened on the back of 1801trial (I'm sure I will be corrected if this isn't the case) and obviously, something is going on with SRA737.

My point, we are in a better place than yesterday, the sp just isn't reflecting it but the BoD should now have the "tools" to provide that much publicised "Shareholder Value"

Just to clarify

Three parts to the Phase 1a trial - they have completed 2, namely SAD and Food - multi ascending dosage was always a continuation study beyond these two.

My understanding is that the HNWI's are still with us, perhaps they may wish to step up again at these levels !!

Think congratulations is in order to Sareum on achieving this milestone, albeit, the multi ascending dosage continues and not sure sanity will ever reign on this bb, but at least there now is some "meat on the bone" for SP to negotiate further/alternative funding!

As Pascal would say a step in the right direction!
