Yes, frustrating the sp is where it is but, for me, we're in trials as stated intention (accept could have been sooner but not sure that the reason is the BoD's fault), we await SRA737 news which will be via CPF and will be advised as and when the BoD see fit - obviously, hopefully good and after nearly 14 years with my stake money out I'm happy to continue to hold.

I think Doolinator gave a pretty sound response to your query, there are many aspects to the granting of patents and their specific "quality" in their field of play, the approach of capsule formulation as an example, if as suggested one patent covered the whole aspect of an approach to drug development we wouldn't have so many pharmas chasing the Tyck/JAK process - we keep nibbling and protecting what we have.

Just my take on it and given John Reader's assertion it gives as protection to our progressing IP as a drug development Company, I'm happy with that - of course I appreciate others will play on the query you have genuinely raised, but, it's as C79 alluded to, attention to detail that counts.

Your mention earlier of West Ham, Celtic and Manchester United and then adding England '66 to '70 were halcyon years of football for me, appreciate there were great eras to follow and still will be but Moore v Pele 1970 Mexico, a boy from my area playing against arguably the best footballer to date was the pinnacle for me!!

Mayhem55, your posting probably summed up best how I felt Thoth/Andy enlightened this bb, yes he had a great way of delivering his knowledge and views and never got personal when in discussion. His empathy for others in the Sareum "Chat" has been mentioned by many, the generous thanks he gave others for their input to the bb and of course the musings over which Jeanneau Yacht to purchase, never to be forgotten!!

Given where we were at the AGM six months ago with SDC-1801, the BoD said they would go elsewhere if MHRA failed to respond, they have as well as setting up a sister entity to facilitate the trials. yes, let's not forget we have lost six month's but I believe the BoD worked to their best intentions.

If the trials are successful (please note cautionary "if" for those who have a fondness of negating any positive terminology), it will be interesting to hear MHRS's excuse and the fact a Phase1a trial worth around £4m went to Australia rather than Manchester UK.

Hopefully, some news soon on SAR 737 - off now as beer o'clock and enjoying some sun in Lanzorote as well as hoping for a Hammers win tonight!

The approach you refer to (using ultrasound and liposomes to target the delivery of anti-cancer agents such as doxorubicin and/or SRA737) is interesting, but please be aware that these are early-stage studies in cell and mouse models. We look forward to seeing if there are any future literature reports of this methodology translating into any human clinical trials.
