Heya Add as I think you know im still of an open mind with DV. For me im not enthused with the fact that he has missed pretty much every self imposed deadline he has set himself / the company. He still has my vote at the AGN whereas I voted against Scott at both of the last 2 AGMs (i do note my vote doesnt matter in the scheme of things - but I vote in Wigan as well which is also a waste of time ha).

SRBS - for me most (if not all) of the recent increase in share price has been down to expectations/ and some actual results for TAM drilling. The last results were in the scheme of things a blow so its to be expected that the sp will suffer.

The fundamentals of the project are still sound though, and TAM is still looking very much economical so in the near to mid future should return to going up. Just got to keep fingers crossed that the next assay results are back to being great, or one of the other news items on the cards comes through.

Yeah NMM to be honest if anyone other than Jackanory had said Construction I wouldnt have mentioned it... I just like saying he is wrong to be honest. To be fair its a regular occurance given I think he is yet to be right.

As annaside with the government shuffle/ merger of departments Im interested as to whom is now responsible for this. Is it still the Ministerio de Producción?

As a further aside I dont see it happening for the next couple of months as the Ecuadorian government has a bigger fish to fry at the moment. Could well be wrong on that though, and hope I am.

The C stands for Complimentary - that aside what the agreement is for is to cover the money going forward.... ie the construction stage.

Firstly we got an investment protection agreement. Then we got an amended investment protection agreement, next is a complimentary investment agreement (which is what CIPA stands for). Basically its a guarantee from the government on whats invested. It protects from socialism basically.

Basically what we want for TAM at present is grade as high as possible (but over 0.16) and as shallow as possible. Grade at depth is fine and will still be open pittable but what they want is cash flow as early as possible. The deeper it is the longer it takes before its excavated and then processed. I imagine they will excavate in lifts to help with the benching and haulage roads - basically that means there will be a uniform excavation so the whole area will be excavated say 5m then 10m and so on. So ore at the deeper points will not be excavated for a good while. Anything really at depth could lead to the deposit turning into a block cave deep into the future.

Basically if its below 0.16% (as per the PFS - this could change) its considered barren rock - ie not worth processing.

Whilst it may be technically possible it would be economically stupid. So if TAM is not viable they wont mine it. They will do exactly what the very well qualified person who wrote the PFS says and use borrow pits.

If they mine TAM they will use the barren rock for the downstream structural zone - if they dont mine TAM they will use borrow bits. For the upstream or filter zones. Given its a porphyry there will be plenty of clay for the upstream zone (just needs testing for permeability, plasticity and compaction)

For the filter zones I imagine they will either crush rock or mine alluvial deposits if available in the nearby rivers / its allowed by the license. I expect though it will be crushed rock.

NMM this is a photo of cobre panama which is circa 300m deep you can see the battering and benching which is used for safety and access. You would incorporate your haulage roads into the benches. The rock from the benches and battering will be waste and useful for the TSF construction. As I mentioned the question is will new solution (ie expanding its life) require engineered rockfill then it becomes a bit trickier as you have to place it and discard certain types of rock (esp ones with high clay content).

TAM is not nearby Cachaco they would not excavate it to produce waste rock as it would be stupid. For the god knows how many time they would excavate borrow pits on site and use that rock
