Yeah as I said add my gut feeling is its a bad idea. But I would be speaking to lawyers if I were them.

I mostly agree add but ill explain why I think the company may have to think about it.

Let's say we dont use the IPA in this instance and accept that this is a fee not a tax.... does that set a precedent? What happens when the government doesnt raise anything like what they are hoping for (which I think is very very likely) they have already detailed what they will spend the money. What if they increase the fee? Does not challenging it now prevent us challenging future increases as we will have accepted it as a fee not a tax?

One thing i would say is i dont see where Aurania get their figures from unless their concessions are absolutely massive!!!!

Cash in a mot so recent RNS the company was talking about spinning off a lot of these concessions - thats clearly impacted by this new tax.

Technically Solgold wont have to pay the cascabel tax will be interesting to see if they take it to arbitration. My gut feeling is that would be a bad idea - but lets see.

Ive been very clear that the 53 million im referring to is for all the concessions.

Add in the following that ive calculated now.

The numbers keep piling up.

I took the hectares from the solgold website (blanca Nieves isnt detailed - or i cant see it). 50% of the amount will be payable in July.

Personally I expect the company will keep the following

Porvenir

Blanca Nieves

Chical

Any others will be based on their internal data.

I will do my sums now how much the above 4 would be.

Its an announcement from 10 days ago..... that company has done a calculation based on its 2 concessions and it comes to 24 million.

I agree the fee is stupid. But governments do stupid things.

Also how can Solgold be paying less than this company?

Cash i am using the lowest figure for all of our concessions. They are all large mines as per the mining law. The figure you are mentioning is what they have been paying all the time which is the concession fee.

Again Solgold is the largest holder of concessions in the country by far. If we are paying 4 or 10 million who is paying the rest to get to the government figures of 220 million?

Stack by the way I might be wrong on my 53 million im just guessing on that but its closer to 53 million than 4 million

We know exactly what stage all our concessions are.... they are initial exploration.

Porvenir recently was granted the advanced exploration license.

The only one im not sure of is Cascabel which is either advanced exploration (I think its that until it gets the next license) or exploitation.

The lowest rate for large scale mining (which all of ours are) is 118 USD a hectare. This is everyone of our concessions expect cascabel and Porvenir. Porvenir is 353 USD a hectare and cascabel is either 353 USD a hectare or 470 USD a hectare.

Cash the lowest rate is not 11.50

I assume based on this article we will have to pay 53 million a year as we are supposedly the biggest consession holder

i think we are talking 2 million ish for cascabel and 1.75 million ish based on back of *** packet figures. half payable next month. walking away from most other concessions i assume.
