He was making a point, that which one example doesn't disprove. Lifestyle diseases are rampant and preventable, add to this a new flu strain and we have what we have, overwhelmingly only those with pre-existing conditions and or are very old die from it, and by the end of the year the damage will be done and the numbers will be in, lockdown was a terrible mistake.
Honestly the numbers were in in March, but anyways, such a shame to go down the tubes like this so unnecessarily.
I don't have a dog in this fight specifically, I was very worried and scared as someone with with breathing issues, nothing was done, bodies piling up in China, I dealt. I was very sad to see the over reaction once it was clear the horse had bolted and we missed that window, closing ports etc. The evidence became clear very quickly after, primarily spread in hospitals, young unaffected, elderly and vulnerable need protection. I mean so many people are on record with this view so don't go all "hindsight is a wonderful thing on me" I've been shouting it from the rooftops since March.
I guess I have 2 dogs, my investments and my health, sadly I cannot see a GP or get any tests done, they ran out of my medicine and my investments went to ****. So really who did we help!? I suspect in this I am not alone. Cancer patients, sick people, mentally ill, educational damage, businesses, livelihoods, aspirations, relationships destroyed, alcohol abuse and drugs rampant, now even the statues have had it.
Boris needs to wake up sharpish. Hopefully in the US it is as I suspect, anywhere that successfully avoided being badly hit are now being hit, it'll burn out at the same rate as it does, weakening as it goes. This too shall pass I suspect, holding for now.
