It is record date on that date so your statement is correct - If you mean are you interpreting the dividend entitlement correctly then probably not, it's trading ex dividend (without the dividend) tomorrow.

No you don't, you can sell at 8:30am tomorrow should you so desire.

Lots of reasons why it isn't higher, fear, uncertainty, optics or investing in a "Russian company" (yes I know it isn't), investment policies (ex FTSE 100 trackers dumping) etc.

I must admit the bargain I thought I had gotten a week ago doesn't feel so secure today as my average is the same price I can still buy it at and has been all week. I'd feel a lot more confident if my average matched my best tranche at 53p than 86 overall. Still, I think the risk to reward is asymmetric, as in I could lose 10k or make 30k. Even if that was a 50/50 it would be a good bet, I suspect it's better than 50/50.

Didn't look to confirm the divi as poly's did but no bad news at least, looks good.

The Sky report specifically says it cannot be corroborated.

It's 2022 but nice try, I was making the point that they can and have withdrawn dividends even a week before they were due to hit people accounts.

They could withdraw it up until it's in your brokers bank, end of the month.

Declaration, record and ex dividend are all different things/days, the record date has not changed, hold at close Wednesday to qualify for this next div.
