But gas, like oil, does move/migrate, so until you drill you just don't really know. I'm guessing that's why some profits are being booked now, ahead of drilling. It's the prudent thing to do.

@Goldbug this has been figured out, probably by Demir too, which is why the market cap is where it is. If we'd managed grades, width amd depth like those say in Newfoundland it might have changed things. We didn't, it hasn't.

Point is it all depends on Geopolitics, Management and the Project and I feel all are excellent in the case of BRES.

LW - I agree with you inasmuch as to push the point that this was done at a premium is not really the win - for me it was done at market, good enough.

For me the win here is that the vast majority of this 'raise' was done to satisfy various creditors/contractors and the fact that they were willing to accept shares in lieu of cash, at the market, speaks volumes (these guys are effectively insiders, or at least entities with closer knowledge of operations). Yes they may sell in to the market, but having accepted 'at-market' prices you'd expect at least some of them will hold for the moment, expecting higher prices.

Otherwise how could Mike have sold this solution to them?

I didn't say there won't be a JV, I just think it's pretty doubtful it'll be with a major.

And I do think there'll be another raise soon enough, and I think the market thinks similarly.

The way I view the RNS is it's positive inasmuch as we're still progressing, no bumps in the road, so we're moving towards that point of now return. Happy to remain Long.

I don't pay much attention to the opinions on the Sunday Roast, more to the interviews with company representatives, these guys are seriously just talking their own books, much of which they've been granted gratis by the companies they're talking about.

I'm not bullish the NED appointment, these semi-retired executives go around picking up these fee-paying roles as part of their retirement plans - goodluck to them - but unless I see a substantial share acquisition by them I wouldn't read much more into it.

I always find the following very encouraging, shares in lieu of cash payment, it equates to insider buying (I know this is largely preaching to the converted to the vast majority on here, but a very good optic for the wider market):

In a way I'm kinda hoping the 17p exercises been undertaken are being sold into the market, to provide some more liquidity for the stock.

Fair point, but I'm guessing the reason we've had David's insider buying raising his stake to 9.5% (?) is probably because of REE discoveries....I'd follow the smart insider buying every time...
