Don't know why people talk about visual results with mineral sands, when it's the grade and composition that counts, doesn't matter what it looks like.

Don't think I'll be re-entering this side of Christmas and will definitely wanna see how things unfold in SL elections, been there done that before.

I did try to top up at 30p but never got done, only because my % stake keeps getting hit with these ruddy warrant exercises and strategic raises. But I wouldn't be an aggressive buyer up here, not because I don't think it hasn't a long way to go but feel I'm exposed enough.

So if drilling doesn't start now until end of Sept, and let's face it who really knows, given the fragility of SL politics and shenanigans, I wouldn't expect any official drill results out of South Africa until well into Q1 2025, possibly Q2.

@cyber - Was already long, it's just a good top up level is all. So much activity going on in the region as soon as anyway strikes something everything will be lifted.

@Troj could not get done on the offer had to hit above it, in fairness everytime I've bgt here I've had to buy above offer, but generally don't buy less than 500k chunks.

Undoubtedly this is great news, BUT ORCA need to sort out the Shell loan repayment and for heaven's sake only sign up JV partners that can:

A. Fulfil their financial obligations; and

B. Fulfil those obligations ON TIME.

Then we should start to see the SP appreciate and attract other investors.

It is difficult to buy volume though - which I'm surprised by. Tried to buy 1m all day yesterday...nothing done.

So I settled for 500k this morning.

Those words keep ringing in my ears...so had to have a top-up this morning.

Hopefully, news is incoming soon.

If possible funding, through US grant is possibly to be announced in Q4, then why do this now?

As usual a great explanatory video from OF. I feel as though I'm a taking a part-time geology course with his series.

I can understand how OF is excited as a geologist, they always get excited when they discover stuff (any stuff really) that adds to the knowledge of formations/evolution of regions etc., but I guess what we need to know as investors is what exactly, and grades, is contained within this porphyry system.

So I, like all of you, eagerly await the drill results to start to build a commercial picture of what we're sitting on.

ATDS - to be clear the US have banned the Chinese tungsten for military uses only from Jan '26. Further clarification Chinese tungsten imports only account for 31% of total US tungsten imports.

Agreed, Tungsten grades are pretty poor, but there is a lot of other stuff in the mix here.

Perhaps OF should start to push that more, instead of always pushing the Tungsten aspect. Because as you say, unless the new drilling delivers better grades, that don't look fab. Compare it to the other one on the list for grants, based in Canada (the name current eludes me) where grades are exponentially better.

There were about 4 lots of 155k shares sold at 1.5p - not shown on this website for some reason, but check a a reputable trading platform.

Someone definitely offloading more at these levels - surprised, I wouldn't have thought there would have been fresh selling now.

@Rob - shock horror amazement, the Chinese misled...again!

It's a little unfortunate if, finally, CMET is entering a period of positive newsflow when the overall market may be entering a downturn in anticipation of FED cuts etc, or it could just be the August lull. September is usually a very strong month for markets but with people like Bezos/Buffet selling off billions of stock to cash you gotta wonder what the insiders are seeing ahead.

That said, given we still haven't started drilling I don't expect we'll see the assay results out from the labs in South Africa at least until the end of 2024, possibly Q1 2025. So the real good news may actually be timed well...Let's see...
