Last RNS (July 10th) said drilling shortly. I assume they had whomever & whatever necessary lined up to commence drilling. I assume given the state of the share price performance Greg would be looking to RNS each and every piece of good news from now on.

So where's the RNS announcing the start of drilling?

If you're thinking of adding more or even entering this...in those, hopefully prophetic, words of our great leader: "...if not now, then when?"

Yes I noticed that. I think, in fairness, we are aware that Mike has stated (I think) he is looking at alternative strategic investors. The key point here being that he's aware of dilution issues and they don't require that much to get them over the DFS completion line (I think).

Given this seems to be the one item on everyone's mind, it seems to be the only thing some ever post about, once it's dealt with it'll remove what appears to be a critical restraint on the share price.

So, yes, let's get it done and out of the way.

Very good points made by both Rupert & David, I really feel I'm finally beginning to understand the potential here in the Boland REE project - fair dues to the amount of explanatory podcasts the COBR guys have generated over the last few weeks.

For me, and I've heard this elsewhere, a key pivotal point here is that China is recognising the environmental issues it has in how it recovers REEs - that is going to change their producing costs dramatically and I don't think that turning point is that far away.

Agreed, even though this is already a multiple bag, I haven't considered selling any yet - too much information coming out even before year end.

Scoop away - plenty of scooping to be done...and plenty of shareholders willing to supply liquidity.

Not surprised by market reaction - I mean last week Greg said this was coming.

It appears permission is not granted to mine below the waterline and it's unclear to what depth they are permitted to drill - there were limits on this previously, which to my understanding have not been lifted.

"The Company has also commenced work on a detailed submission on the feasibility of mining below the groundwater table, which is permissible in most beach mineral sands projects globally and has already taken place elsewhere in Sri Lanka. Discussions are advancing with the relevant authorities in Sri Lanka in this regard."

Still, it's another step forward. Hopefully, they'll announce when activity commences and when samples are being shipped to South Africa, until then I don't see much to get excited about.

Have to agree ICB. He prefaced that post saying they had now received the analysis from the porphyry expert, which they would share soon, and then posted the photos on the website.

They must have both high confidence and excitement to do that, providing a heads up to shareholders and the market. Its just a shame we're not all geologists! Lol

So I postulated at the start of this thread, back on May 17th, that this could spike down to 5p. It hasn't been a spike but a drip drip decline, which is kind of more worrying!

And now I have to ask my 2month older self - should I top-up at these levels that I was thinking about back in May?

I'm really not inclined to do so, haven't heard anything in the intervening period that'd give me confidence.

Given Leahy's recent purchase, ignoring the c..kup in a simple RNS, we're clearly in a timeframe where Directors are able to buy. Therefore, I would expect to see an announcement PDQ that Greg has also bought some shares in the open market.
