Mozza, according to the OMV document, they are plugging the well at the top of the 12.25” section and starting again from that point which is at 2,352ft.
Once the casing is pulled and the original hole plugged (which takes a few days), they’ve got to drill both the 12.25” section and 8.5” section again. That’s approximately 2,500ft and includes the high pressure, high temperature zone where drilling will be slower. In the original well they allowed 30-35 days for those sections, and they’ve stated 37 days to drill the sidetrack (which maybe allows a bit of extra time as the sidetrack won’t be totally vertical).
They then have to rig up the testing equipment and perform the test. I’m not sure how long that will last but I would guess a few days at least and possibly as much as a week.
So my guess would be at least 5 weeks and probably more like 6 weeks from when they started operations. The sidetrack permit was granted as an appraisal well on 23rd September:

So my guess would be end of October at the earliest but probably the first half of November for results. But that is just a guess because they might go quicker now they know what to expect, or they might have issues/delays.
