We’ve seen this before only to see the US tumble again after FTSE close.

US shale will grind to a halt at current oil prices. Not sure Donald will want that because he will know what the repercussions are. Supply/demand & pricing is very finely balanced at the moment. Expect all of this to be resolved within weeks.

I don’t think that anybody has said that the oil price doesn’t affect RKH (unless I’ve missed something), but that futures pricing is more relevant than the spot price for the time being at least (unless it absolutely craters).

Yes oil has actually done ok the last few hours (relatively anyway!).

Lots can happen over the weekend, let’s see what Monday brings. Either way I’m looking at least 5 years away with RKH anyway so as long as it doesn’t disrupt FID I won’t get too concerned.

Down 6% (2,400 points) on the futures at the moment.

It’s quite a correction that’s for sure, although this too shall pass!

Well at least it was a good start to the week! A brutal end but these things happen with the stock market.

Shenandoah and Sea Lion both have low breakeven prices and Navitas & potential partners won’t be thinking about the next few weeks and months, but the next few years.

These tariffs might have a recessionary impact but I also think Trump will be keen to see a strong economy. There will be more to play out with this for sure, and it’s not like it’s a Covid-style shutdown.

I actually think lower oil prices over the next couple of years wouldn’t be a bad thing for RKH as long as Navitas proceed with FID. it would weed out some of the higher cost producers and lead to tighter supply later down the line once Sea Lion is in production.

It’s never nice to see paper money disappear but I’m going to take advantage if I can with the ISA allowance next week and not worry too much about daily/weekly fluctuations.

It would be nice to get a positive OM result though!

As I said this presentation smacks of a company with no news at all but wants to shift some placing shares.

If I’m honest I think Baker comes across as a bit of a spiv, but the thing that really put me off him was guso’s reports of cosy chats behind the scenes.

If there is one red flag that I take as the ultimate warning, it’s that.

There have been far too many CEOs like that on AIM over the years and they have all ended up in tears.
