Rookie you never seem to want to discuss the company at all, but that’s what these forums are for.

You say you expect a better deal than RKH, but can’t explain why or what that deal might look like.

Also I haven’t cost anybody any money. I have never advised anybody to buy or sell, nor have I made any share price predictions. I have said that I don’t think Navitas would be interested in a deal, and I have said the SFB is a decade behind the NFB. I’ve said that BOR will have to give away a lot to get a deal, but I’ve also said that BOR could rise in sympathy with progress in the north. So what have I said so far that’s been proved wrong?

Interesting take on it borders but the FIG and locals have been supportive for a long time, even before Navitas got involved.

Borders and I are having a conversation about BOR Rookie. He brought up RKH, not me.

Thanks borders. Interesting you’re expecting a better deal than RKH who had a fully appraised field with cored reservoir rocks from a number of wells and flow tested, plus it was development ready with hundreds of millions spent on FEED.

What makes you think that out of interest? And who do you think the offers might come from?

What sort of deal are you expecting from a partner Borders?

Certainly a vey large increase in volume recently. Hard to decipher what is behind it.

Rumours of an Iran deal apparently although it’s not as if Iran haven’t been supplying the market.

£8.91 is not impossible, but as you say I suspect the vultures would arrive before then.

From my interactions with Sam Moody he seems to think any potential offers would be more likely to come once Phase 1 is in production (rather than before first oil) but before the subsequent phases. Important to get an early look at Isobel’s marlon sump if that’s the case.

Rookie you are misreading the situation. The only reason BOR ever gets brought up on the RKH forum is because Market-Dealer keeps on about them. Frankly I do wish BOR well but I don’t think they will get an attractive farm out deal. Does that mean the share price won’t rise in sympathy with any progress in the NFB? No, but I think the share price predictions put out by Market-Dealer are pure fantasy. But then so are his trades - he was claiming FID was going to be delayed by a year or two and said he was shorting, then all of a sudden he’s pumping again. He’s a classic pump & dump merchant intent on misleading others, hence why his comments about BOR get called out on the RKH forum.

At the risk of sounding like a hypocrite because I’ve responded to Market-Dealer as well, but there is little point in turning this forum into a RKH vs DES p*ssing contest. I’d suggest posting over on the BOR forum if you take an interest there (positive or negative), and leaving this to Rockhopper chat.

Back to RKH, it is interesting that the Relocation Notification has been submitted for Aoka Mizu.

Bluewater were fast tracking the FEED with the aim of completing it in April so it might well be done now.

Looks like a classic pump & dump to me. I think a large shareholder wanted to exit, which is why BOR held their Investor Meet presentation to try to encourage a bit of buying/liquidity. Unfortunately for said shareholder the timing coincided with the Trump tariff announcement and no buying took place.

That large shareholder has now offloaded off market to two others (hence the simultaneous TR1 notifications). Some people are getting excited about them increasing their shareholdings but not thinking about who has reduced.

Slightly nostalgic for me because I bought my first ever Rockhopper shares back in 2009 for 54p.

They ten bagged from there in less than a year based on a discovery well and a slightly botched well test.

Let’s hope they can do even better this time - the timeframe might be slightly longer but if FID goes ahead the outcome should be a lot better.
