I don't think they'll be so heavily discounted or it will indeed cause SP problems. It'll be a good price, but not crazy good. IMO.

As we usually see with any shares dilution... SP usually finds a way to drop to that new normal before picking up again. We saw it exactly here a couple of months ago. IMO this will dip again close to 50 then a gradual climb back up. Just MHO. I'm obviously not a de-ramper.... this is just how I'm looking at it today as a long term believer.

Yup gambled with £10k bid that I'd taken out of here a couple of days ago. I'd suspect it will be advantageous pricing... but not so advantageous that it drops SP again in reaction to it.

I would be surprised if this didn't go under 50p this morning, possibly even 45p..... currently watching trades like a hawk trying to guess the bottom and throw funds back in.

I'm liking this to be honest - jumped right into that!

Price went up because of the knowledge that they were getting out I think @Pingu777.... and stayed elevated despite them selling into the demand steadily .... is how I read it.

Looking back at just the last 80 minutes of trading - there are too many round number sells to me, 5mill exactly, 1 mill exactly, totalling 20 mill just in this time frame. Retail sellers don't (usually) buy/sell by share volume, but by price. Personally I think they're selling through.

I guess it's not talked about more because the long term holders are indeed well aware of these dates ;o)

Look at the trades in detail.... ever hour, there are two round figure sells next to each other. 4mill on the nose in 2 transactions at 13.22 for example. 2mill on the nose in 2 transaction at 14.35. IMO they're still clearing these shares through gradually....

If Stroll traded increased shareholding of AML for Mercedes F1, that would cover it....

And if that happens, regardless of any positive impact of F1 on AML - SP will explode purely from the increased involvement of Mercedes.

Yup... FTSE dropping is the reason I'd say for the drop last couple days. I don't think it's stopped dropping yet.... keep a close eye on the dow leading up to open in the US. AML follows FTSE and FSTE follows DOW, is the logic I usually employ.

@Jakerman you need to stop and think about this. WHY would this go back to 70p tomorrow? Nothing increases that much without a reason. Without news, or big uptick in the FTSE, no it won't.

It's just joining rumours together - but yes there is a scenario where it could be Mercedes F1 which is rebranded as Aston Martin next year instead of Racing Point. Lets see!

And what becomes even more interesting with that - is if part of the deal for Stroll owning Mercedes F1, is Daimler increasing their shareholding in AML..... we all know what that is going to do to SP IMMEDIATELY ;o)
