I do admit to be now ignoring all technical analysis and just basing my trading off how I think folk react to news, and guessing from the pattern of graph where the peaks and troughs are. I possibly guess it 80% right but I really wouldn't expect anyone to believe that, as I don't trust my own judgement more often than not!

Without going too deep into technicalities but just using logic... support will be here the largest volume of share buys will be centred around, as said volume will all be unlikely to sell at that point, near the price they paid, if SP drops down to it. You don't need to analyse it - you can see it by eye just looking at the line graph, IMO.

How would mid 60's be the support level @rlszer when it's only touched that low briefly once in 3 weeks?

I'm not sure on that Hitch..... IMO the stock market is driven by emotion and hype IMO, the numbers are a product of that. Understanding sentiment is more important than graphs.

You've hit the nail on the head. Stroll & co are already thinking how to position the results in a months time for sure.... I'd be very surprised if the expected poor numbers are not overshadowed by a mic drop announcement.

My logic was that very few SP's rise circa 20% in a day without a drop as soon as the peak flattens, then its a snowball as everyone takes profit.
